What type of gameplay does this game have? Is it similar to eiter Pray Game or Kung Fu Grand King.

5 main series quests give you 5 good/true endings. There are 6 bosses. Failed to kill each one give you a new bad ending. You can always keep playing after you get new ending(s). There are 9 new treasure boxes that needs special keys to open. I plan to find those keys. :-)...
