Remove ubisoft connect please nobody wants that nor wants to have to sign up to play a singleplayergame

A very subjective review on my part.

Far Cry games are usually a lot of fun, but this one, not so much. I have played all of the FC games since nr 1, and have enjoyed most if not all of them, where FarCry 5 is by far my favorite. Probably because 5 had a more grounded and believable setting (until the very end where it became a bit goofy).

I feel like 6 had potential when it comes to the setting, but kind of gets ruined by goofy characters. Everyone yells, everyone is sarcastic and make jokes. Wartime and oppression is so funny you know.

Visually it can be really beautiful, at times. But playing it on PC on a 4K monitor with maxed out graphics, it feels very lacking. I have this feeling I did not get from nr 5, and that is that it feels too much like a console port. Everything seems big & enlarged, I don't feel like the game scales properly on PC. Cloud be just me, but this is the first thing I noticed.

There is one game mechanic that really bothers me from the start. And that is territory control or map progress. I love it when game implement this properly, but Far Cry 6 has, in my eyes, completely failed here. When you capture/clear a checkpoint, a base or whatever, it should affect the map and the area. It should replace enemy forces with friendly forces, because the area is liberated. This progress should be more visible on the map and in game as well. Especially when you clear out an entire region, I still see enemy on every corner, respawning each time. So annoying! It takes away the feeling that you actually have progressed and liberated something, and it's really messing up my "OCD" :D

There are fun moments, for sure. But it feels very different from previous games, and I don't like it much. I didn't get to finish the game since it bugged out mid way and ruined my save. Don't feel that motivated to restart.

Really hope nr 7 is better than this.
