This is to ponder whether or not the creator, and the players, of this game despise or cherish The Witness. I could see it being a love letter for some and a piece of ridiculing catharsis for others...thoughts?

My high score on this stupid "puzzle" is 475, and I haven't been able to replicate it since. Yes, I've stood close to the TV. Yes, I've held the left mouse button down the entire time. I've tried everything. This game has been amazing, the puzzles have been and rely on wit. for some reason every time I get to the hedge maze part, there's a gate that soft locks the game. I've tried looking at countless tutorials, and nobody seems to have this problem. Does anyone else have this?

I've completed the book in the maze completely multiple times, even taking notes on the numbers of each symbol on each page and the orders. I've even taken pictures of each page's completed path and tried different purple-maze orders based on potential patterns from the book. However, I still haven't succeeded.
