Cant beat the levels after I got the first key.
After I got the first key to unlock lower levels, I always die when I reach the final floor boss, which is almost always the badger, I never find enough DPS and it doesnt matter if I do a normal run or a quest run to unlock new items.

What kind of items are you collecting?
Are you saving re-rolls for boss relics to ensure you get a good one?

Try to focus on stacking armor. If you can get a few helmets/boots and a chest piece you can have 20+ passive armor easily. This makes the first 2 floors almost guaranteed.
