Code fixes

Fixed a crash that occurred when a FOB was captured or destroyed by an enemy.
Fixed a crash that happened when attempting to launch a multiplayer campaign initiated in a previous version.
Resolved a black screen issue that appeared when trying to start a multiplayer campaign from a previous version.
Fixed a bug in Army General that occurred when loading an autosave created before a battle.
Adjusted the napalm effect used by certain units to reduce the excessively large area of impact.

Nemesis missed oppotunity

I love the idea of Nemesis DLC show casing 2 formations however it feels the devs have missed a trick. These 2 formations need to be integrated into SP (beyond Skirmish). A operation for each one (or even the option to play and existing one but with these forces) and even adding them as units within the AG campaigns would have made me immediately buy it. As it is I dont play MP so there is little point....

In last week’s DevBlog, we mentioned that Nemesis: Air Assault and the free Reinforcement Pack: Urban Frontlines would launch in the very near future. Surprise! When we said “very soon”, we meant it!

Nemesis: Air Assault

Nemesis: Air Assault is a two-division mini-expansion that follows the popular Steel Division 2 Nemesis DLC concept. Each Nemesis DLC is themed, bringing two new divisions plus new weapons, units, and models. The idea is simple: for each Nemesis, we present three options, and afterward, you get to vote on which Nemesis DLC should be developed next.

In Nemesis: Air Assault ’s case, we already made the choice ahead of time to speed up development. Future Nemesis DLC will run the public gauntlet as advertised above.

The air-mobile focus of Nemesis: Air Assault is evident with the hardy veterans of the Soviet 56-ya O.G. DShB, or 56th Separate Guards Air Assault, and the elite American 101st Airborne Division. Check out the dedicated previews to read all about the new weapons and units featured by these two new divisions in Nemesis: Air Assault.

Is it just me or...?

Is it just me or did the developers of Broken Arrow make a much more interesting game than Warno with one little thing? In all maps, they grouped the objectives in the middle of the map and thus achieved that the player can, actaully, follow all the events on the map, unlike Warno, where the player simply does not have time to react in all places on the map. Maybe I'm wrong....

Why BA will fail and WARNO not

The more I look at the gameplay of BA the more I come to realize how utterly dead the understanding is of what made games such as EE and ALB and Red Dragon fun. You can zoom in on any spot on the map and hear enemy units even if you can't see them. This means in multiplayer you can snipe any unit even if it's idle (including infantry!). You will lose any sense of surprise because anybody can hear a helicopter or tank rush coming before you can even see it.

It is the same in Steel Division 2 so I assume it's a game engine problem that they won't fix. Some of the online community is pretty toxic about it calling it a feature and that you should just "get good". Review will stay negative until they fix it.

The current state of this game is horrible. Its amazing how quickly the game went from fun combined arms, to just becoming Steel Division. whoever spams the most arty will win with very few exceptions. Aircraft went from broken and the struggle for airpower being a key component of the game. To a noob trap and a complete waste of points as pretty much any CAS mission is a suicide run. There has to be a way to balance it so Heli rushing isn't viable while also making it so there's at least some struggle for the airspace

Game isn't even truly finished and they are releasing DLC packs that are more expensive than the base game?

Is the 'cluster everything' meta getting boring?

I just find that with the more open maps, cluster is the cause of and solution to all lifes problems. So in 10v10 I pick 3 armd to use my abrams, but end up spending way more time with MLRS becuase they just wipe stuff, GDR players do the same with their RFMW, I play british infantry, but end up clustering because thats what stops any armour without risk, its what kills enemy sams guaranteed, when upvetted for quick firing, its what kills their arty.
