Can you stop the game from pausing when tabbing out?
I could have sworn i saw a "pause on lost focus" setting earlier, but now i can't find it in the settings. I have also tried changing it to windowed and it still pauses.

I doubt that you can.
Why would you want the game to continueon without you controlling?
Deacon would soon be attacked and killed soon after.

If you're bored by the cinematics, or those so slow walks with Sarah, the game still requires input from you, either during or immediately after.

That's not a setting in game, you can do it, but it needs an external tool which isn't free.
