Days Gone is criminally underrated. One of the best gaming  experiences in my life was fighting the hordes.
Great story, great visuals, great gameplay, and fantastic voice acting. I hope it gets a sequel.

No one is Going to read this review so i want to confess that i am gay .

A beautiful game.

The developers really put effort into rendering a game with graphical beauty that rivals anything I've ever seen. It is like I stepped out my house into a nature conservation park gone to ****. You can get 'lost' just staring at the scenery, let alone fighting the "freakers". So many moments have been "that is a screenshot!" only to find something better down the road a few minutes later that I gave it up. Steam would get upset with me about all the screenshots I'd like to upload showing the graphical beauty of this game.

Light survival elements. Nothing like eat, sleep, drink, but what there is is totally enough to make you realise you are scrounging to survive in a hostile environment.

Story is great. Makes you wonder when/if the main protagonist might actually lose his sanity. Talking to himself already made it seem quite credible.

The gameplay is a solid 3rd person shooter/stealth/action, though your ammo is limited and stealth (at least on survivor 2 difficulty is near mandatory) is advisable to conserve ammo and grant maximum XP gain (stealth kills grant the most XP, headshots second most XP.

Sound is great. Even down to the engine upgrades you get for your bike.

Not much music except in dangerous situations where it is totally appropriate. Definitely gives you the "oh ****" moment when facing a large mob of freakers/horde or mini boss, but the little there is is great.

Only gripe I have is the atrocious hitboxes. Trying to get consistent headshots is nigh impossible. Literally the only source of deep frustration for me. I just inexplicably miss, or even landing what I 100% know would be a headshot, is counted as a body shot. If you are toting something like the M14, not getting those headshots really, REALLY hurts. I'm not sure if this is because it is a port or not, but it is just a personal irritation as sniping is my goto. A second irritation is sometimes saving survivors bugs and they just aimlessly wander around even when you dealt with all enemies around them.

You can be a wannabe biker. Seriously, what more needs to be said?

Most of the negative reviews are full of it. Game plays flawlessly on I7 10700K, RTX 3060 12GB, 32 GB RAM and SSD (not even a high spec system by today's standards). Not 1 crash. No frame issues and I'm playing on 200% upscale with all graphics maxed. Other than the 2 annoyances I listed previously, there is really nothing wrong with the game.

Last, sequel when??? Seriously, devs, don't sleep on this one. It is a gem.
