I've owned 20XX for some time and I enjoyed it. But as an outsider to 30XX, I don't see the draw. It looks to me like the same game. Can someone sell me on this? What tangible benefits does 30XX offer me as a player that 20XX doesn't that would justify coming out of pocket to play it instead?...

I played 20xx, I liked it but I felt like, it was an unlocked mode from a main game that wasn't there. Is there missions in this one? Or is it just a few maps that have changed layouts every run? I'm Intrested in buying.

What I mean is that, at the beginning of the run, you would access a shop with every Core and Aug, and be given, say, 100 money to buy whatever you want. Then you play the levels as normal (while keeping your unspent money) but anything that would normally give you Augs or Cores instead gives you money, beating the boss also rewards you with money and, at the end of the level, instead of picking a power, you access the full shop again. What do you think?...

Lots of enemies + lots of hazards + lots of projectile + lots of difficult platforming all at the same time? That's way too much! Also, the bosses are insanely damage-spongy. I mean, over 10,000 HP when the player's character deals 10-30 damage per hit? Come on!...
