Stuncuffs were restraint devices made of durasteel used to control prisoners. Stuncuffs were capable of delivering a electrical charge to the detainee, effectively incapacitating them and allowing the prisoners to be restrained.

Stuncuffs were a common restraint device used throughout the galaxy to control prisoners and captives. Stuncuffs were generally used for prisoners who were considered to be high-risk threats. They were functionally similar to magnacuffs,^[1] featuring magnetic field generators, but they also incorporated stun filaments^[2] that delivered an electrical stun charge into the cuffs. Triggered remotely, stuncuffs delivered a paralyzing jolt of energy into the prisoner^[2] to render them unconscious. Stuncuffs could be placed on detainees around their arms or legs.^[2]
