A blockade of the Imperial Navy was active during the Imperial Era and under the command of Moff Boyse from his flagship Exchequer. The Galactic Empire's blockade over the planet Scipio consisted of Star Destroyers that ensured, along with Imperial advisors, that the InterGalactic Banking Clan's leadership council known as the Core Five only issued loans and allocated funds to those who were completely loyal to the Empire.[1]
