"Seems awfully quiet for a mining town."
"Probably because it isn't. This is where Jabba keeps his slave pens."
"Oh. Of course. As a monster does."
―Deva Lompop and Boba Fett[2]

Mos Entha was a settlement built across from the Mospic High Range, on the desert planet Tatooine.[1] During the reign of the Galactic Empire, the Hutt crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure kept slave pens in Mos Entha. At some point, his operations in the town were infiltrated and disrupted by Jarm Brock, who worked for Crimson Dawn. In response, Jabba sent teams to kill Brock and his enforcers but these attempts failed, leading the Hutt to hire information broker Deva Lompop to work with bounty hunter Boba Fett in order to complete the job.[2]
