- "With the next quarter's detention estimates expected to increase across the Ryloth sector, any further erosion in local authority may require an increase in our black line budget."
- ―Supervisor Grandi
The Gaulus sector,[1] also known as the Ryloth sector,[11] was a sector of the Outer Rim Territories region of the galaxy. It contained the Ryloth system,[1] the location of the planet Ryloth, which was the site of a battle during the Clone Wars.[5]
Following the rise of the Galactic Empire, a faction of the Twi'lek species native to Ryloth rebelled against the Empire in the Ryloth Insurgency, which led to the Sith Lords Darth Sidious and Darth Vader visiting the world.[6]
