The Hollow race is one of the three playable races in the game. Hollows are corrupt spirits possessing extraordinary abilities, and they feed on the body parts of deceased Soul Reapers and other Hollows.

Acquisition[]

In order to acquire the Hollow race, the player needs to speak with Aizen who can be found in Karakura Town. Once the conversation with Aizen is complete, a quest to defeat a Soul Reaper will be assigned to the player. Throughout the mission, all Soul Reapers will be denoted with green dots.

Once the mission is successfully finished, Aizen will reward the player with the Hollow race and subsequently transport them to Hueco Mundo.

Progression[]

As a Hollow, progression in terms of evolution involves defeating enemies and consuming the body parts that drop after they die. Body parts are colored black and emit black particles, and will disappear after around 10 seconds. Body parts are valued differently and grant more or less experience depending on what they drop from, shown in the table below.

Enemy Value
Hollow 1
Adjuchas 2
Vasto Lorde 3
Arrancars 4
Any non-event boss in Hueco Mundo 8

Evolution[]

To advance to the Menos race, the player needs to consume body parts from Hollows or Soul Reapers, which provides experience points essential for the player to move to the next level. The number of experience points gained is determined by the type of enemy consumed. The player needs to gather precisely 1250 experience points to progress to the next stage, which is accomplished by consuming body parts until this requirement is fulfilled.

To progress to the Menoscar race, players must meet certain requirements, including being at least level 15 and having acquired the Menos race. Additionally, they must remain in the game for 52 minutes and complete a mini-game. If players leave the game or die during the process, the timer will reset, and they will have to start again.

To start the mini-game, players must purchase the 'Menoscar' skill from the shop. Successfully completing the mini-game within the specified time limit is necessary for players to unlock the Menoscar race. However, if players fail the mini-game, their progress will be reset, and they will need to repeat the process, waiting the required time again before attempting the mini-game once more.

The player must be at least level 10 and have already obtained the Menos race to be eligible to acquire the Adjucha race. To complete the necessary requirements, the player must stay in the game without leaving or dying for an hour. Once the hour has passed, the Adjucha race will be unlocked.

In order for the player to obtain the Adjucar race, they must consume the body parts of Hollows or Soul Reapers until they have obtained precisely 1562 experience points. Additionally, the player must be at least level 25 and successfully complete a mini-game. To gain access to the mini-game, the player must first acquire the ‘Adjucar’ skill from the shop.

It is essential to note that failure to succeed in the mini-game will require the player to restart their progress by consuming the necessary body parts again. Therefore, it is important for the player to be fully prepared before attempting the mini-game.

In order to acquire the Vasto Lorde race, players must have achieved at least level 50 and previously obtained the Adjucha race. The player must then consume body parts of Hollows or Soul Reapers until they accumulate a total of 1875 experience points.

To be a True Vasto Lorde players must go past 2500 experience points and keep eating body part of Hollows and Soul Reapers to get too 3125 experience

In order to attain the Vastocar race, players must accumulate 2250 experience points by consuming body parts of Hollows or Soul Reapers. After reaching this milestone, players must purchase the "Vastocar" skill from the shop and proceed to complete the accompanying mini-game.

It is important to note that failing the mini-game will result in the player's progress being reset, requiring them to attain the 2250 experience points again before being able to attempt the mini-game once more.
