In regards to this, I am wondering if there is a wikia where this is allowed and which one it would be. I can see many listed on Template:Weblinks but I'm not sure. Fanon/Fanfiction sounds like written content as opposed to art, would they welcome it? All I can figure is maybe fanblog. Lock this page[]

Okay, after checking the history, I saw there were a couple vandalists.

......WHY THE HELL ISN'T THIS PAGE LOCKED?! I mean, it's the freaking main page! You'd think something like that would be admin-exclusive. The main page is the easiest page anybody could vandalize. Why? Because it's typically the first thing new users click on. This could give vandalists ideas. The gears in his head will start turning.

So what do new vistors of the One Piece Wiki see? The very first thing they encounter? PORN! ONE PIECE PORN GALORE! Hey everyone, our featured page for today is "Futanari Pirates"! Let's burn our eyes and fap at the same time.

The best possible choice would be the pic that shows both Hot-Cold sides of the island but like u said we cannot put it because of the width. Why would we even put the kids? That...is a fantastic idea! You didn't really specify it well earlier, so I guess I must have missed it. But changing the main image helps with variety, and it kind of gives a little idea of "what will it be next?" The only problem is we'd have to be consistent. Three options are fine. We can even add more as more options come along. I think each slide should have a minimum of three images, since we need to be consistent with each one. I'd say the hardest image to find would be merchandise, which we may need to force ourselves to create our own images. Dead alternative storyline links[]

A lot of the alternative storyline links on the mainpage are dead and should be removed: 

• One Piece New Age RP 2 posts this month, both in the same thread: Dead forum.

• One Piece Explore Last posts in February. Dead.

• One Piece Fan Blog Last proper  post in 2009 (?!?), only random anons since then. Dead.

• One Piece Fan Fiction Wiki Barely any posts this month,  see no reason to keep this when other fan fiction wikis such as Ship of Fools are thriving.

• One Piece Fanon Wiki Even less edits recently, no real reason to keep it. 

As for One Piece on Wikipedia, why do we have this anyways? We provide, way more detailed information, nobody gives a shit about our origins. 

And I don't know wtf happened to the One Piece Wikkii main page, but at least they're still surprisingly active over there.

Random featured article[]

I'm not a regular wiki editor so I'm unaware of how certain things are done. But I've noticed that for some of the articles that appear on the main page; for example the random featured article; the introductory lines to the article tend to be outdated. Is there a way to make the lines that appear on the main page automatically updated to the latest version of the article?

An example is a random featured article on Doflamingo that just appeared to me. This is what it appeared as on the main page:

Donquixote Doflamingo is a Shichibukai that has a former bounty of 340 million belli. This bounty is the highest bounty displayed so far in all of One Piece.

That's clearly waaay outdated since his bounty of 340 million belli was no longer the highest bounty displayed so far in all of One Piece since ages ago. Happenings Template[]

I just edited the happenings template after noticing it was several weeks out of date. It doesn't seem like most people bother to update it so is there any way to make it update automatically? I don't know enough about code to do that. Videogamep Talk 02:43, April 27, 2014 (UTC)

I don't think so. I guess it would technically be possible to put the short summary in <includeonly> tags every chapter and set up the main page to transclude {{:Chapter {{Count/chapters}}}} to get the most recently released chapter, but the risk with this is that if the include only tags were removed by someone, the entire page would get transcluded and that would break everything. It's probably best just stick to manually updating - just put a reminder for yourself somewhere to update the template every Monday for the previous week's chapter/episode. First of all, make sure you sign your posts with ~~~~.
Second, the Enies Lobby Arc begins at Episode 264 (Chapter 375 in the manga). It's a bit hard to tell you WHEN Luffy came to save Robin. You'll just have to look. It's a bit of a long arc. On the bottom of every arc, chapter, and episode page, we have a small template showing you a little episode guide. You can use this if you need guidance. Renaming[]

What link? And there is nothing really to do beside moving... you should check if MediaWiki:Mainpage was updated correctly (it should be updated automatically) and of course leave the redirect. Mobile Main Page[]

I'm surprised this hasn't come up sooner, but the mobile main page needs a hell of a facelift. Currently, the only thing the main slider links to is a review of Chapter 840 by Kaido King of the Beasts. The category features also aren't updated to how they should be currently, as they still showcase images from Dressrosa.

It wouldn't take that much time to update it, so I don't see how it's taken so long to be noticed.
