F.E.A.S.T. (Food, Emergency, Aid, Shelter and Training) is a homeless shelter owned and operated by Martin Li in the Marvel's Spider-Man series. It serves as a place of employment for May Parker and is also where Miles Morales volunteers.

The shelter's main base is in Chinatown, New York City. Homeless individuals reside in sleeping bags and small beds across the floor of the main room, while offices for staff are located on an upper floor.

History[]

Early history[]

At some point, Martin Li setup F.E.A.S.T to assist the homeless people in New York. He later recruited May Parker to help him run the facility, who in turn brought in her nephew Peter Parker to help.

Marvel's Spider-Man[]

While Peter (as Spider-Man) was moving in to help Yuri Watanabe apprehend the Kingpin at Fisk Tower, he received a call from May asking him to come in and help at F.E.A.S.T. After sending Fisk to the Raft, Peter made his way there and kept May busy while Martin and several other workers setup their planned surprise party for May in honor of May's service at F.E.A.S.T as well.[3]

After confronting Demons, Peter brought a mask he obtained to Martin to examine. Martin reacted with deep horror towards the mask, citing it was linked to a dark history. Peter pressed for more answers but Martin revealed he was leaving F.E.A.S.T for a time and was having May run the shelter while he was gone. Suspicious, Peter let Martin go. Despite Martin's arrest, he already entrust F.E.A.S.T. to May.[4]

Ever since the death of May during the last day of Devil's Breath outbreak caused by Sinister Six, former Oscorp scientist Morgan Michaels mass-produces the Devil's Breath anti-serum to cure the surviving infected. May's death sparks the expansion of F.E.A.S.T. branches across Manhattan, inspiring people by the "When you help someone you help everyone" motto of F.E.A.S.T. in her honor.

Between Marvel's Spider-Man and Miles Morales[]

At some point, Gloria Davila, who first volunteered F.E.A.S.T. prior to the Demons' terrorism against Norman Osborn, is offered to be the head of Harlem branch of F.E.A.S.T. called F.E.A.S.T. North, much to her happiness in tears.

Miles Morales[]

F.E.A.S.T. North is also a victim to Wilson Fisk's attempt take over of Harlem from the shadows, and becoming part of warring areas between Roxxon and the Underground, until the new Spider-Man and Prowler steps in to stop the warring and save Harlem, as well as exposing Roxxon's criminal activity caused by Simon Krieger.

Overall, Fisk also had his men steal the toys like Spider-Plushies from F.E.A.S.T. Center, Chinatown via stolen F.E.A.S.T. Trucks before the new Spider-Man stops his attempt thanks to his FNSM App.

Gameplay[]

First introduced in "For She's a Jolly Good Fellow", players explore F.E.A.S.T. as Peter Parker during various missions. When visited in missions, there are no activities to be completed aside from interacting with people or the environment as per the current mission objectives. Upon passing workers or homeless individuals, many will recognize Peter and exchange brief amounts of dialogue.

Original appearance[]

F.E.A.S.T. first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man #548 (March 2008).
