- Tip "T.I." Harris is confirmed to not return as Dave from the previous two films. Although this news broke after T.I. and his wife were accused of sexual abuse, insiders close to the movie state he was never slated to return.[6]
- Originally slated to be the released on February 17, 2023, the release was later taken by The Marvels, pushing this film back to July 28, 2023.[7] However, this film and The Marvels would swap each others' release dates on April 29, 2022, moving this film back up to February 17, 2023.[8]

- While director Peyton Reed was unsure of exactly where Quantumania fits into the MCU timeline, it likely takes place in 2027, as Cassie Lang is 18 during its events and was unaffected by the Blip.[9]
