PlayStation: Leaker Hints That Sony Is Working on Major First-Party Titles as Part of the 2025 Lineup - PS5

Recently, a few months back Sony held a PlayStation State of Play event where they made some exciting announcements about upcoming games. Despite this, a well-known leaker, who is known for his reliable leaks about Sony’s plans, has mentioned that Sony has several major first-party games lined up for 2025.

According to the well-known and reputable leaker Shinobi602, who has been mostly accurate about Sony game launches so far, said on ResetEra that Sony has several major first-party games lined up for 2025. The leaker also added that these upcoming games are not from independent developers like Shift Up (who made Stellar Blade) or Team Ninja (who made Rise of the Ronin).

Instead, they are being made by the big teams at PlayStation Studios, which are owned by Sony. However, the insider didn't mention how many of these major games will be released, and this information is not confirmed; it is just speculation based on the leaks.

As we all know, Death Stranding 2 is one of the upcoming releases for PS5. Furthermore, there are speculations over the community suggesting it’s possible that we might finally get Ghost of Tsushima 2. There’s also the question of what God of War developer Santa Monica Studio is working on next, specifically the unannounced mystery game under director Cory Barlog who stepped back from the director’s position for God of War Ragnarok to reportedly work on this mystery game.
