Somehing very exciting has just occurred in the esports broadcasting space. For the first time in the history of Indian esports, a popular caster, Ocean Sharma has been appointed as the national presenter for the next season of the prestigious cricket competition, Indian Premier League or IPL 2024. This means that Ocean Sharma is now the first Indian esports caster to join this franchise cricket league.

Sharma has had an illustrious career as an esports caster as well as game analyst, and is renowned in the industry for his talent. He has been responsible for casting several BGMI tournaments and even global esports events, including PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021: League – East, PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021: Grand Finals, and PUBG Mobile Pro League – South Asia Spring 2022.

Moreover, this isn't the first time for Ocean as a traditional sports presenter, as he has previously cast in popular tournaments such as Ultimate Kho Kho and Pro Kabaddi League.
