Server wide hack and support refuse to acknowledge or help fix

Honestly, the problems I have had with A2 are beyond comprehendible. We have had a complete server wide hack affecting almost all of our websites hosted but still A2 refuse to accept it's their issue and say they cannot see any issues. We had something similar with another host a few years back (almost identical) and they got on it right away, found the issue and fixed it rapid.

For such a premium service providor I'm extremely dissappointed with the lack of 1. support 2. knowledge and 3. ability to resolve issues.

A2 Hosting strives to provide a secure and reliable hosting environment. Security is a top priority for us. The hack you experienced isn't a server-wide compromise and is an account-level compromise. You have multiple websites sharing one cPanel account which can cause malware to spread between websites if one of your websites gets infected with malware. Your server was fully restored from our backups within 2 hours of contacting us both times.

We understand the gravity of the situation and want to assure you that your concerns are being taken very seriously.

Pre-sales support staff is knowledgeable

Pre-sales support staff is knowledgeable about products and answers quite a number of my questions promptly. Those that need checking came back shortly. Also proposed free alternative when my concern about cost is voiced.

AMAZING

AMAZING - as usual. More specifically, Dandy G. was absolutely FANTASTIC!!! Having said that... I must admit that every single interaction, with every single individual at A2 Hosting has been truly incredible. I am not the most technical savvy individual... but I know when I'm having problems (LOL). Whether the issue requires a simple resolution or a complicated series of steps, A2 Hosting has NEVER given up on me, my businesses, my clients, or resolving the issue(s) as quickly as possible. I cannot recommend them enough. A2 Hosting is a critical partner is my business and I am truly thankful that we found one another.

Thank you to all tech support who have…

Thank you to all tech support who have helped with the site issues. Big THANKS to Daniel working on the 4th of July and answering the phone within 5 rings (Amazing!). Had some bots crawling the site and using up all of the resources. Daniel added a crawl rate and reset my resources + gave me the ip's of the offending bots. I blocked them and things are better. I was also able to pick his brain on a caching issue that I'm currently having. Anyhow - I got first class service on the 4th of July!

I suddenly got an intermittent problem…

I suddenly got an intermittent problem on my server (failed database conntections) and raised a ticket. It took two days until I got a response (only after I complained). The response was from a first level supporter who listed standard recommendations out of his service coobook. He did not even address the reported problem. It took several additional mails, until I was told he is now raising an internal ticket to address the problem. But after additional two days still no response!!
I have been an A2 customer for five years. During this time A2 has got gradually got worse. Unacceptable response times. Tickets are handled by unqualified first level supports who have no capability to solve specific problems and fail to escalate.
If this continues I will strongly consider to leave A2 for another hosting service.

The person who assisted me, Kushmitha S is actually a champion who did it all for my client to resume from suspension.
I had no hope this situation could be lifted but he managed to get my client back on the road, my client and I will keep honoring and getting services from A2Hosting, our provide we trusted since 2013-2014

I received wonderful support from A2…

I received wonderful support from A2 hosting when I had issues with my websites, that were due in large part to my lack of expertise. I learned a lot about when to make backups, staging sites, and when to not make too many staging sites daisy chained. Even though my lack of skill caused the A2 staff a lot of extra work, they were very helpful and patient with me as we worked it out. I will not make the same mistake again of getting my work tangled up, and we got it all sorted out nicely. I highly recommend A2 hosting for their team, their equipment, their skill and their patience.
