GreenGeeks: One less thing to worry about.

When relying on technology very little is more important than the speed, efficiency and courtesy of tech support. (Or any other support for that matter). GreenGeeks shines.

if you're providing web-related services to clients, you want partners/providers who take your business as seriously as you do. This is them.

Great Customer Service

Greengeeks ws recommended to me based on their customer service and pricing to host my website. The process was easy to sign up for, and it is my hosting platform, and my business emails are all in one place. Greengeeks' website was easy to navigate, and their customer service is superb. They are quick to respond, and their follow-up is amazing to make sure that the issue is resolved. If you are searching for a new hosting company or want to change hosting platforms, you will be pleasantly surprised. I usually do not bother writing reviews, but this is the first time in ages that I wrote a review that shows how impressed I am with Greengeeks.

This is the worse web hosting company, STAY MILES AWAY!!

This is the worse web hosting company I've ever used. I signed up a couple of days ago. The techs are useless and migration of my site was impossible with one error message after another! I didn't even wait a day. I immediately cancelled the service, which took another half hour. They don't make it easy to cancel, with a form, confirmation, etc. Then comes the salt on the wound!! They send me a confirmed cancellation notice and a refund statement, however, my bank, which is one of the largest in the Nation, tells me no refund is pending. The bank immediately took off the charge. I called GREENGEEKS and they said the money was already refunded to the BANK, which was a total LIE! My bank had no transaction number! My bank told me no such refund came through, however, with all the proof I had in writing, my bank removed the charge. WHAT KIND OF LIE IS THIS, OR IS THIS A SCAM? GREENGEEKS are telling me MY BANK MADE A MISTAKE? STAY MILES AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTELY WORSE COMPANY I EVER HAVE DEALT WITH!!! I HAVE DECIDED TO CALL MY BANKK AND CHANGE THE CREDIT CARD NUMBER SO THIS TERRIBLE UNSCRUPULOUS COMPANY DOES NOT EVER IN THE FUTURE TRY TO USE MY CREDIT CARD. THIS IS A RECOMMENDATION FOR EVERYONE WHO HAS A SIMILAR ISSUE WITH THIS COMPANY!

I’ve had other hosts in the past and they don’t hold a candle to this company.
It’s affordable, it’s easy to setup and if you have any troubles the support team is there to help immediately.
Definitely recommend

Happily migrated after 23 years, didn't know how bad my old service actually was

As the title says, I spent 23 years with what eventually became a Newfold Digital acquisition. As a legacy account, I increasingly found myself benefiting from legacy features that they didn't turn off (catch-all email addresses, large storage capacity) and hobbled by the need for à la carte feature purchases, redirected support, and pay-for-support offers for problems that any web hosting company should have provided for free. After a long three weeks of php/MySQL nonsense this past May/June, I began the search for a new provider and found GreenGeeks had both everything I needed in place and provided me support for a few things I wanted on the side that other hosting companies said they would not do. Migration for two websites was easy and my downtime of switching hosting and email was on the order of a few minutes during the total process. The support is great, the loading times are a fraction of what they were with my other company, and I appreciate the green stance the company has taken. I'm very happy and think they're well worth your consideration.

Greengeek is a very bad company

Greengeek is a very bad company, never take its service by mistake

I am a blogger and I have been blogging for 10 years but I found GreenGeeks to be the worst service

Greeengeek's hosting is very bad, I request you guys to never buy Greengeek hosting even by mistake

GreenGeeks customer support is also very bad

If you buy Log Hosting then your money will go waste

I bought hosting from GreenGeeks but the service was very bad then I applied for refund but haven't received refund till now

I would never do business with Green…

Edit: I am revising my review based on GreenGeeks responding to this review and correcting the situation. I have risen my rating from one star to three stars.

Previous Review: I would never do business with Green Geeks again. After I transferred my hosting away to a different company, they still charged me for the renewal. This is after I got on Support with them to make SURE I was not going to be charged, and was assured I was not. I was told I no longer had any active hosting services with them, and therefore would not be charged.

As a precaution, I tried to turn off "auto renewal", but there was no such functionality. So I tried to at least delete my credit card, so there could be no mistake on their end. There was no possible way to remove the card.

Sure enough, I receive a charge for $162 for a renewed year of service. After calling support again, I was told I actually needed to cxl 5 days prior to renewal. Not only was this not mentioned on my previous chats (which they do not let the customer access), and was explicitly told I would NOT be charged as my service was no longer active.

After some back and forth, I received a partial refund. I am absolutely furious that this is how they treat a customer who has used them off and on for YEARS with various websites. I would urge anyone reading this to get your services elsewhere. I found an AWESOME new host who I am very happy with and who have great prices, even upon renewal.

Impressed…even wowed

I am very impressed with greengeeks. I’ve literally (and I mean literally) never had such impressive customer service. I’ve had accounts with several other hosting and domain companies over the years. Greengeeks has been more responsive and effective and patient in helping me with big and small issues than any other company has. Gg was recommended to me based on pricing, but it has been the service and communication that has wowed me. I am not being compensated or incentivized to write this. I am genuinely pleased and delighted with this company.

domain cancellation policy

I requested a domain cancellation for a domain I'm not using, but they responded that it can only be done a couple of weeks before renewal and that they can't cancel the auto-renewal. This seems really strange.

GreenGeeks hosting is very bad hosting…

GreenGeeks hosting is very bad hosting its support is also very bad ?

Never buy this hosting from GreenGeeks website, it is a very bad hosting, its support is even worse

I bought hosting from GreenGeeks website but its interface is very bad then I asked for help from their support team but no one helped me

I was very upset with Greengeeks Hosting. The day I bought the hosting I messaged for a refund. I did not receive any response from Greengeeks. Then I Gmailed and messaged the Support team. I got a reply after 4 days.

I bought a Greengeeks plan worth $34.40. I was told by Greengeek that I would get my hosting refunded within 3 to 5 days. It has been 12 days now but I have not got my money refunded.

I request you to never buy hosting from Greengeek even by mistake, this is a very bad hosting

GreenGeeks is truly is an excellent platform to host your website and domain on. With so many tools and the accesibility plus speed to get things seamlessly is appreciated. I admire that GG is Eco and gives back to Earth too.

Great value for money

The Support in EXCELLENT, rapid and an incredibly professional and expereinced team.

Support tickets are handled directly through the dashboard and CPanel is very rich in its offerings.

Just a great company to work with

Just a great company.

No company is perfect and I think reviewers on Trust Pilot are sometimes too quick to criticize.

Like all of us, I have had some terrible experiences with certain service providers.

However for Green Geeks, they are as good as you can realistically expect them to be in terms of their product and responsiveness of their customer service team.

Their environmental efforts are just so great too. I would highly recommend Green Geeks.

I was unhappy with other hosting…

I was unhappy with other hosting providers for my clients since neither of the 3 would upgrade PHP or MySQL to supported releases. One of my clients has a critical business need to be on PHP 8.2 and the former hosting service told him to get on a dedicated server. I started moving to Green Geeks and have zero issues with support. I have two more clients to move to Green Geeks.

Managed VPS is great

This review relates to their managed VPS, which I have used for several years. Excellent uptime, excellent tech support. I had no problems with them but eventually had to leave because the price (which is very affordable compared to other hosts) was too high compared to what my business was making. So I switched to shared hosting elsewhere. If you're looking for a managed VPS at a reasonable price point, GreenGeeks is definitely the place to go. I love that they have an environmentally conscious mission too.

Greengeeks are the best web hosting company! I have been with all the big ones and nothing compares to the service you get with these guys.
