Heaven Can Wait, also known as Tenhou Seki, is one of Axl Low's Special Attacks. It first appeared in Guilty Gear, and was a staple of his moveset until it was removed in Guilty Gear -Strive-.

Overview[]

Axl assumes a defensive stance for a brief period. If he's hit while in this stance, he grabs the opponent and throws them away.

In Guilty Gear, the counter will activate on any attack that hits the counter hitbox.[1] The throw sends the opponent flying away.

In Guilty Gear X, only high and mid attacks will be countered. The throw now causes a side switch.

Guilty Gear XX introduces the Kick version, which only counters lows. The throw's animation was also altered -- Axl now covers the opponent with his bandanna before sending them flying.
