There was something I thought might be an interesting thing to note in the trivia section as another bullet point under Testament's gender, but given how sensitive the subject was when Testament was first revealed for Strive and in general how it might come across I thought it best to ask on the Talk page here before doing anything. I thought it might be worth noting (solely as an interesting trivia tidbit) that despite Testament being non-binary and the prevalent user of they/them pronouns, Nagoriyuki refers to Testament as 'him' in their arcade mode without any correction or notable reaction from anybody else present. There's also the fact that their theme seems to refer to them by 'he' and 'him' several times but as this is much less direct, I can see the argument that it isn't necessarily referring to Testament directly and could just be about a more general person. But I think if nothing else it is interesting to note given that clarification of Testament's gender was important enough that several members of the GG team commented on it during their Strive reveal, and could potentially even indicate they go by he/they both instead of strictly they/them. I definitely acknowledge that there really isn't anything to back that up though and the thing with Nagoriyuki could easily have just been an oversight as well.

Either way, I wanted to check here on the talk page if it would be alright to add, since I personally think it's an interesting bit of trivia but I understand that this is a sensitive subject and that Testament's page had to be locked in the past over things like this so I wouldn't blame anybody if they don't think adding it would be noteworthy or a good idea. I also want to make it clear I'm not trying to push any narrative or the like with it either because I know that between Testament and Bridget there's a lot of people who still refuse to back down on their new identities and keep trying to twist things to indicate what they want the character to be, not what the actually are at this point, so I apologize if this came across as something like that since I definitely didn't mean any of this in that way.Kouzen (talk) 17:06, 17 August 2022 (UTC)

While I do understand and respect your reasons, it's probably best to keep the page as is. Chances are it was an unintentional oversight on the translators' end. It is an interesting piece of dialogue, to say the least. JustAToucan (talk) 06:07, 20 August 2022 (UTC)
