  1. No, how dare you. I’ll have you know I was stupid long before I was gaming, thank you very much.

  5. Hi guys, just opening here since I plan to cover all the special robots as they get released NOTE: Seems you have to beat the game first for these to appear! My guess is there is going to be 1 each month (June/July/August/September) with the last one being maybe 1 week before the release of the full new Astro Bot game. So stay tuned! 1. Lady Maria (Bloodborne) - GPU Jungle 2. Selene (Returnal) - SSD Speedway 3. ??? 4. ???

  7. You don't need to lock your events because of this, it's just a very small mistake, which everyone does in their lifes at some point. Most don't care about this, believe me. I respect you as a person and for me, I value your help and that you always treated me and many others with kindness, more than numbers in a profile. Like, I'm the worst trophy hunter ever and have some followers somehow lol. Whatever you want to do in your profile, doesn't change who you are. I was a bit surprised yesterday, but it really doesn't change anything more than a few numbers in a profile. No one cares how many trophies someone has, if they're a terrible person. You're a very important soul here and I wouldn't like seeing you leaving : )

  8. Look at these replies, man. Some dude is excited about a fun platinum and ya'll talking about Intelligent Qube lmao. It's fucking TOY STORY. Get a grip. I'm stoked on it.

  9. I really don't get why people are complaining that the trophies are time-gated. If you're concerned about your 100% completion profile you literally just have to wait till September so that you're back to 100% again. I mean am I missing something? The DLC trophies aren't even difficult once someone figures out how to free the hidden bots. I promise you no one other than yourself is constantly checking your profile to see that your 100% completion has gone down to 99.9%. Creating issues out of what is supposed to be a cute little DLC to get you hyped for the next game.

  10. #474 & Trophy #20 000 - Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion My Living Legacy "Acquired all trophies." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Completion time: 42 hours / 5 months, 2 weeks (PSNP) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was good to play Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII again with updated graphics/visuals and slightly modified combat system. The original Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII is my #1 PSP game and Reunion version made it even better and more accessible to new & old players. The character models looks so much better compared to original, but not quite as pretty as Final Fantasy VII Remake & Rebirth. The OG Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII is what ultimately made me love and appreciate Final Fantasy VII's world, lore and characters. I loved OG Final Fantasy VII and Crisis Core Final Fantasy made me love and appreciate it even more when I first tackled it about 15 years ago. Trophy wise it's an easy list to complete and being old game design there are missable collectibles/trophies if you don't take time to explore the environment when given chance to do so. I'd recommend to follow a guide for those collectibles. And I don't actually have to play the whole game on hard difficulty for a trophy; just beat the final boss on hard mode and you unlock a shiny gold trophy (you can switch difficulty in settings) Gongaga's finest ballsack massager I can't believe how many times I got robbed by Yuffie during those side missions... Can... can I have a taste too? Pretty please...? Fun fact: Zack was repeating "Me? Gongaga" during his sleep It's also good for chopping vegetables and manures Praise the sun... during nighttime All hail King Sephiroth, the chosen one to rule our planet!

  11. #473 - Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth Infinite Wealth "Obtained all trophies." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Completion time: 96 hours / 4 months, 4 weeks (PSNP) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This one took me a while, because February/March had crazy release date window for games (Persona 3 Reload & Final Fantasy VII Rebirth) that I was equally interested as Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. I had to take a break from big RPG games after I was done playing Persona 3 Reload and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, so I had to postpone my Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth playthrough. Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth is an absolutely incredible game. Like most big RPG games; the game starts really slow, before interesting things starts happening. The characters and story were engaging enough to keep me invested in the story whole way through. I think Yakuza: Like A Dragon has better story, but Infinite Wealth has better characters, since most of them are making a come back form the previous instalment. Infinite Wealth has one of the greatest character writing I have seen in a video game. I'm glad to see Kiryu making a comeback as playable character for this newest "Yakuza" game. The gameplay is also fun/good. If you like playing turn based RPG games then Infinite Wealth might be your cup of tea. Trophy wise it's not hard game to complete, it's just time consuming as expected from mainline Like A Dragon/Yakuza game "We're breaking the law, breakin the world! 🎶" My facial expression when I get emotional damaged Taking a short nap during intense battle is the way to go! Nah, that's just my air balloon My landlord asking for my rent I too like to wet myself occasionally...

  12. #91 Stellar Blade - Eve Protocol Story 7/10 (They had me when I saw there was robots in the game) Fun Factor 10/10 Difficulty 4/10 I broke down and bought this I had to see what the hype was all about, and it didn’t disappoint , graphics and combat shine here in a big way. I think this is a decent entry into the souls-like combat (more like souls-similar since you don’t have any items/souls you have to regain when you die) if someone hasn’t previously played games like this. There’s a number of settings to ease you into the combat and assist you which I think was an interesting approach since most games in this genre don’t do that I’m aware of (for instance there’s a setting where the game will tell you when to mash buttons for parry and perfect dodge) I think a good platinum run time is probably 50-70 hours. Trophy list here is pretty tame, You just have to watch out for the two points of no return which can lock you out of trophies depending on what you’ve collected. Reminded me in many ways of Lies of P (one of my all time favorites). If you played Stellar Blade, but not Lies of P - you gotta try it! Fun Factor was an easy 10 just because of how fluid combat was and how quickly you could move and jump around, much fun! All in all, I think for Shift Up’s first outing I think the developer did well here. I still would give GOTY to FF7 Rebirth just because of the pure depth of what the game offers, (200+ Hours give or take if you’re hunting the platinum) but I’d put Stellar Blade not far behind it. Wish me luck now I’m working on Hollow Knight, might be awhile, lol.

  13. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Definitive Edition #84 - All we had to do was plat the damn game, CJ! It's been 15+ years since I've played this and I thought it was time to go back to it and relieve some memories. It was fine and all, but the bugs and glitches kind of ruined the experience. Still, a game that still holds up 20 years later

  14. #150 Difficulty: 6/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Grind: 2/10 Time: 68 Hours Rarity: [Ultra Rare 0.5% / Ultra Rare 2.95%] Milestone: 150th Platinum "But soon they shall know this devil's power." THIS IS SPECIAL! DMC4 Is my favorite dmc game and one of my most cherished games I've played as a kid. DMC4 was one of the first games I've played on the ps3, and I still remember it like yesterday. When I saw Nero and Dante in this game I was so amazed by them and I wanted to be as cool as them, I remember when I saw the amazing cutscenes DMC4 has and seeing how crazy they get, I couldn't believe what I was seeing, and with the ingenuity of a kid I wondered if that was possible in real life hahaha, damn... how time flies. Those times I really cherish, so melodramatic lol. So being that DMC4 is a very special game to me, it was obvious I was going to go for the plat at some point, this is a plat I truly wanted from the moment I saw it. But, and I'm not gonna lie, I was really intimidated by it. I knew that after my plat 100, I would go for DMC4 and do it my platinum #150 no matter what, so these last 49 platinums were a warm up for DMC4 plat. I had a lot of fun coming back to DMC4, at first I felt like I was going to be very rusty since I haven't played a DMC since I platinum 5, but once I got into the action, man demons started flying hahaha. It took me 12 hours on Devil Hunter (normal) with all secret missions. These secret mission were the reason it took me so long to beat the game, some were really tricky. Now it's time for the real deal, the time to talk about S ranking every difficulty, this seems is gonna be tough but... is it? If you are attempting this plat, you have to keep in mind a few things. 1) You don't have to be a master and a god in gaming to get it. 2) You have a lot of tools to make your life easier, Lady and Trish are going to earn you the plat, I see a lot of people saying not to play with the girls and they say that Trish is bad for s ranks and blah blah blah, people that say that Trish is bad for S Ranking they clearly haven't played DMC1 or didn't took the time to learn her move set, Trish is basically Dante from DMC1 but 1000% better. You also have the DLC's, which includes Super Costumes, this helps for Bloody Palace but not for S Ranking. 3) This is not the hardest DMC to S rank, people also say this game ranking system sucks and that the requirements are stupid. That's bs honestly, this is one of the easiest DMC games to get and S rank, assuming you play with Lady/Trish, the requirements are only time, orbs and stylish points. The higher the difficulty level you get more time to finish a level, on DMD you get like 40 minutes for a mission you can clear in less than 20 minutes, this gives you a lot of time to go farm orbs or stylish points, people also complain about the orbs requirements saying that you have to break everything in the whole level to get it, sure you have to break stuff but you don't have to worry about where is every breakable object in the area. And on top of that, you don't get penalized for using items, using items only voids you from a bonus that isn't that important for a s rank, but it doesn't penalize you like dying and using a continue, this is what actually screw your s rank, so you can use all the items you want if you are having troubles. 4) If you are a veteran or a experienced DMC player this plat is going to be no trouble. There are a lot of this mechanics that makes this platinum more manageable, for someone new to the series sure this is going to be tough but with practice and patience anyone can get it. And for the love of Sparda, don't play on turbo mode if you aren't that good on the game, take your time since in the end an incredible platinum awaits you. S ranking Devil Hunter was stupidly easy with Lady and Trish, this is was my first time playing with them and I loved they combat style, specially Lady's (the love of my life). It took me 9 hours and I got S rank on my first try for most of the missions. I retried like 3 or 4 max. S ranking Son of Sparda was easy too, only mission 14 I had to retried it 3 times the rest came in the first try. One advantage this game has is that missions are very short and you get more time on higher difficulties, you get like 30 minutes to get s rank on time hahaha very cool. I also did all bosses with SSS rank, this was easy too. This run took me another 8 hours. Dante Must Die. S ranking this mode was a complete breeze with the girls. DMD is the hardest difficulty in DMC game, enemies are tougher and have Devil Triggers, if you are a veteran and an experienced DMC player you know the deal. But in this game, S ranking DMD is not that hard. Like I said, in this game you don't get penalized for using items, the way items affect your final score is by getting a bonus for not using items, which is not that important for S ranks, so this means you can use all the items you feel like and don't lose you precious S rank. And being honest you are only going to start using items on DMD if you are decent enough. So this helps a lot on bosses and on critical situations, at this point if you have the dlc that adds currency to your game you should have over 1 million red orbs to buy items and help you out. And trust me they help a ton, for me this has been one of the easiest DMD to S rank in all Devil May Cry games, even easier than DMC3. LDK was one of the easiest to S rank. Took me 4 hours, one thing about this mode is that with 2 or 3 battles you have more than enough stylish points to get an S, so you can skip unnecessary battles to speed things up, you don't need 50k stylish points hahaha. Now I only need to S rank Human mode and then finish Heaven and Hell & Hell and Hell and then is time for Bloody Palace. Going to take a break for a day. S ranking story mode. This has been one of the easiest DMC games I've S ranked, I got almost 95% of all missions S Ranked on the first try so pretty easy, S ranking is mostly just time consuming. Heaven & Hell and Hell & Hell took me 6 hours to do. I had a harder time S ranking DMC5. Now all that remains is Bloody Palace stuff. This took me like 15 hours approximately, this is were things can get tricky, but if you got all the S ranks with no problems Bloody Palace is going to be little to no match for you devil hunter. One particular trophy that may seem very scary is Untouchable, for killing Dante, last boss of bloody place, without getting hit or taking damage, the first time I tried it was with Vergil with Super Costume and I got robbed because I killed Dante no hit and I didn't get the trophy, I think the game glitched on me because for a time Dante froze and didn't move, or I got hit by a damn stray bullet and receive 0.00001% of damage. I tried it like 5 times with Vergil, but it was just a waste of time since Dante always hit me with his guns so I tried it with Dante and I got it on my first try. This trophy isn't skill related is more rng based, and the only "hard part" about it is putting an hour to reach Dante and try again. But using Dante is the easiest way to get it, it's very rare that Dante starts shooting right from the start so using Dante you can easily kill it with Pandora's disaster in a matter of seconds. You can use the super costumes for Dante/Vergil/Nero, making their runs just a matter of time. But for Lady/Trish you'll have to do it legit. Like I've said if you got the S ranks with the girls you can do bloody palace but Trish run is going to be the hardest, this is were my nerves went though the roof, I died on stage 36 I believe, but I got it done with Trish one my second attempt. The scary part on Trish run are the Blitz's, but if you play well with Trish you can definitely beat Bloody Palace, so take your time and don't let the nerves get ya. For me, doing bloody palace with Trish was the equivalent of getting the no damage bonus on mission 8 from DMC5, this 2 moments were pure nerves, but I had an easier time with DMC4. Lady's run is very easy if you move well and know the character, for the most part of her bloody palace run I've only needed level 3 shotguns and good movement to reach the end. I left Lady's Bloody Palace for last since I was pretty confident playing with her, though it took me 2 tries, and not because I died at some point with her, the game saw I was just 5 damn stages away from the plat so it decided to play dirty and glitched, leaving a big black screen and ruining my run, I'll leave a video on the hidden content, I wasn't mad about this but I was like, really DMC4??? I'm not going to say that this plat is easy or that is incredibly hard, it depends a lot on your skill level and the knowledge you have on DMC games, but is not a platinum designed to make you fail, if you take your time to learn you can get it, there is an "easy way" for getting most trophies, like getting SSS on bosses. You have a lot of tools and mechanics to help you out and a lot of information around too, for veterans/experienced players this is going to be a decent challenge, and for newcomers this is gonna prove more than a challenge, but like I've said, with practice and patience anyone can get it, if you want to get all the DMC games platinum a tip I can give you is to start from the bottom, you can do the 3 first games twice and get 6 plats there and a lot of practice and when you reach DMC4 & 5 do 5 first, DMC5 is hard too but the gameplay there is incredible so when you finish it you are going well prepared for DMC4, because if you can plat DMC5 you can do 4 and viceversa. If you are going for this platinum never forget that Devils Never Cry and You Shall Never Surrender!

  15. TIER 1 COMPLETE ! TIER 2 COMPLETE ! TIER 3 IN PROGRESS ! 1) Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time (PS4) - 3.59% Rarity (Completed 28th June) For the first game of Tier 3 is a banger for sure, and is one of my favorite platformers of all time. This is my second coming for this game, and it is crazy knowing where everything is from the first time around and the strategies being used for the plat relics. Overall, it was a such a great game but the platinum can be daunting as hell. The inverted gems were tedious as it got to the half way point, as some levels were abysmal to the naked eye. Some perfect relics were horrible such as Rush Hour, Crash landed and Toxic Tunnels, with Crash Landed taking me about 3-4 hours max. Some plat relics were tough, but following the dev times walkthroughs on the levels made it easier, abusing the slide + spin and triple spin. I played this game again because I also wanted to finish the Crash series on this account, but also going for a faster time if possible. First time I played this years ago I spent over 100 hours, now I spent less than 70 hours overall for the plat. Rating: 9/10 Difficulty: 7/10 Time: 69 hours (nice)

  16. DEVIL MAY CRY 5 SPECIAL EDITION Devil May Cry Unlock all trophies. NOTE: It was a hard road to complete this awesome game, sometimes I felt like I was going to cry, just like the game´s title😅, because of the DANTE MUST DIE & HELL AND HELL Difficulties. I´m not a pro player of these kind of hardcore games, so if I could get this platinum, so can you. Good luck if you ever give it a try!

  17. #149 Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Grind: 5/10 Time: 115 Hours Rarity: [Ultra Rare 2.6% / Rare 15.52%] "You know what they say about the leading man. He never dies." This is by far the most drastically different Final Fantasy I've played so far. Not only it changed the combat, clearly trying to appeal as a mmo, but overall this FF feels like something else. I really like the art style especially the realism look, for me this my favorite aspect so far. The Job system is cool too, really gives the player a lot of freedom, there are a few things that bugs me, one is that this game feels like damn star wars and I'm not joking hahaha, star wars has always been present in FF so you can say this is a big homage to it hahaha. There are aspects of this game that are really killed me, one is the combat mechanic. You see, this is the only FF game I played where I used the time boost on combats and everywhere else from minute 0, because they are so damn slow and boring. It takes forever to kill an enemy and in this game enemies are everywhere, there are no random encounters in this game all enemies roam on the map, and having linear maps (yeah maps are linear, they have more hallways and they get very tiring since they look like labyrinths) you agro all enemies in your way, and trust me they'll follow you like a crazy fan. So running around from place to place is a pain especially when you go to new areas and there are high level enemies. I still prefer 13 hallways than these pseudo mmo maps. Compare to FFX maps, you can feel you are in a world, you can feel the life on them, but FF12 maps feel like random dungeons or areas with no life on them, you have this big areas of cities and stuff but they all feel empty. I liked this game world but ff12 is plain boring overall. As for the characters, this is my least favorite party in a FF, there isn't a protagonist here, sure Vann is the face of the game but honestly everyone feels like random people that didn't have anything better to do so they follow the first guy they see. FF12 just doesn't feel like "Final Fantasy", I don't think it's a bad game but there's a huge change in this game from other FF. The only reason I came to play this game is because it had Final Fantasy on its tittle, if this game wasn't a FF I wouldn't never played it. But there where good moments too, I liked the ending. The story for FF12 is more political and a military one, you are in middle of a war, it's not that best but it's still enjoyable. As for the music, this is my least favorite ost, (I played with the reorchestrated version). Not gonna lie, I was very tired of this game, I can say that this is my least favorite FF and the worst one. I had more fun with FF13-3, and I'm not a fan of the time restriction that game has, but man FF12 is just lame, don't get me wrong I still had fun playing it, sometimes that is. By far the thing I hate about this game are those maps, I can't stand them. They are a chunk of random areas where there isn't anything interesting, they are at the same level of DMC2 maps, but the worst part is that they are a big chunk of hallways connected in a labyrinth maze like form that never ends, and it just a pain in the ass, just google FF12 maps and see it for yourself, and I wouldn't matter if they were interesting at least, but nope this game has no life in it, and I now this game wants to appeal as a MMO because of FF11 but I'm not buying it. And this pseudo mmo maps ruins the experience of bosses, getting stuff or anything else. The hardest part of the bosses, which are Espers, Marks or whatever , is not the fight itself, is getting where they are. One of the hardest Esper is Zodriack, it took me about 4 minutes to kill it, but reaching the area where it was a pain, this game areas are the worst I've seen in all FF games I've played, like the Great Crystal one, which you are going to need to look up for a map on the internet to actually get out. And talking about maps, it's hilarious you need to have 2 maps on screen so that you don't get lost in any place you go, and of course seeing how big this areas areas are, you can't see shit on the screen with a second map. This is the only FF game where the speed booster x4 is actually a necessity from the start, for battles and from getting to place to place. Very lame. So that plat is done. It took me the 115 hours lol. So there were a lo of pain in the ass stuff to do like getting the bestiary and believe me that is a tiresome task, there are like 300 entries on it, must are enemies and bosses that come naturally on the plat journey but man the Rare Game are a different story, they only show up once you activate a side quest and they have very specific requirements to spawn, some of them are % based but others requires killing certain amount of enemies, chaining enemies, waiting or another specific action. It's not hard, but is very tedious since there are 80 of them I believe, I'm only missing 10 or so, so I'm pretty close on finishing this. Compare to FFX monster hunting, FF12 is easier but it's just incredibly boring and a big hassle. Other than that, one trophy I thought it was going to be a huge pain was getting all the maps explore, thankfully is very simple and easy, you don't have to explore every corner in every map thank god! This platinum isn't that hard, of course you'll need to put a lot of hours in it, and for me this wasn't a FF I truly enjoyed like the previous I've done, so playing 115 hours in this game felt like a eternity for me, you need to do a lot of stuff, like hunts, sidequest, you name it, so keep that in mind. I higly recommedn leaving trial mode for last and getting all in the main game first, speaking of trial mode, once I was done with the main game, all I have to do was to put the 4x time boost one and wait until I reached trial 80, this is where you need to use starts and think the battles out. I made the big mistake of not getting the Nihopalaoa, this is of huge help on the 100 trial, I was so scared I wasn't going to be able to finish it but, this is Final Fantasy, there's always a way, so a few final eclipses from Zodirak and the rest was history. This is my last FF game in a while. I'm going for a very special game for my 150.

  18. 374 - Streets of Rage 4 Use to play the original trilogy on Sega Genesis a lot as a kid so they have a lot of nostalgia for me, and so I’m happy to have this platinum on my list. It was difficult, but managed to pull it off in the end with help from @WyndigoSpirit for the harder trophies such as S ranking the last level, and beating arcade mode on hard with a single credit.

  19. I've never been called stupid for gaming. Although I did have some friends question the 1000 hours it took me to Plat Diablo 2 and say I could have done something more constructive with the time. When I asked them what constructive things they did in the evenings there response was 'We watch TV'. I just rolled my eyes

  20. #313: The Dragon of Dojima - Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name I bought Infinite Wealth and figured it as good as time as any to play this too so I can now be caught up whenever I decide to play Infinite Wealth. My understanding is this was supposed to be a DLC for Yakuza 7 but became its own thing and despite it not being very big it does have a fair amount of content even if it mostly takes place in Sotenbori and the Castle area. There is also the new combat style with the gadgets that I can see originally being intended for the turn-based combat of Y7, which in a way I feel like is kind of doubling down on the whole over-the-top and whacky side of Yakuza especially with the rocket shoes but they are fun to use at least. The story though also short also serves a nice bridge between Yakuza 6 to 8 and the ending hit pretty hard especially since the credits starts playing the piano version of Amazing Grace which feels like a callback to Yakuza 1. It was also cool seeing Kiryu's side of the dissolution scene that happens in Yakuza 7 and I love how the final boss fight is kind of like the one in Yakuza 5 where you are fighting through the Tojo Clan Headquarters only this time it's the Omi building. I definitely look forward to playing Infinite Wealth and seeing how all the events in that unfold and hopefully Kiryu gets something of a damn break. On top of constant emotional turmoil the man has been repeatedly shot, stabbed, and had to deal with tons of nonsense from the countless substories since at least 1988 with barely any time to settle down. The only other thing left is the trophies which pretty much everyone knows this is one of the easiest trophy lists for Yakuza because there isn't a Completion List or even a Legend Difficulty trophy. It is kind of interesting though since they definitely could have since there are the usual mini-games where they could have added a trophy for completing them all, including beloved Pocket Circuit. You don't have to but I did at least the Pocket Circuit events and I'm glad I did because there is something of a payoff when you beat all the rivals you can. The only real grind in this one is the Coliseum stuff but it isn't that bad. I actually liked the Hell Rumble thing even if I had a hard time hearing myself think with the party setup I had especially with Mr. Masochist constantly going "LET'S GOOOOO" every few seconds on top of the constant explosions and hitting sounds. That said if you've played the other Yakuza games this is a short but sweet experience especially if you went through Yakuza 0 all the way to 5 and for me I also include Ishin because no way would I have started this so soon if it were anywhere near that long. But it felt like a nice sendoff to a game where Kiryu is the main character, at least that's how it seems. Some of the callbacks were cool, like how one of the arena fights is where you fight robot versions of all the bosses Kiryu fought in the previous games and it plays their respective themes. I did it twice just to hear Fly and For Who's Sake.

  21. #47: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Remastered #48: Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Remastered #49: Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Remastered Haven't posted here in a while (couple years at least). Started getting back into gaming and trophy hunting again. This year I wanted to limit the spending on games and go through my backlog + any PS+ games I 'own'. I knew Uncharted 1 was a game I wanted to get back to (please ignore the Platinum in 6 years 1 month 😇) and thought might as well do the whole series. Favourite so far is without a doubt Uncharted 2, although I haven't played 4 yet (to be my 50th platinum). Going through the Uncharted series also means I can get back to A Lost Legacy, which weirdly enough was my first ever playstation game. Loved the series so far, but not sure if I love it enough to go through a Brutal playthroughs or full speedruns for the 100%s. Maybe another time though...

  22. Tier 3 done! Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is surprisingly still a very active game around the Gold/Platinum ranks with a lot of the players knowing how to do touch of death combos while I only knew how to do a few basic combos because I was too lazy to train in training mode. It's probably very active due to it being on PS Extra. I boosted the majority of it with a second console but still had to beat up randoms that would frequently interrupt my boosting as my alt stayed in the Platinum ranks to boost up my main to Master. Overall, I recommend if you want to boost to do it when it leaves PS Extra so that there might be less random players while boosting. Here's a few of my matches on my alt where I somehow won against players that know how to do touch of death combos. 23. #198 - Stellar Blade ( Plat. + 100% Completion ) - EVE Protocol ( 7,4% Very Rare / 32,23% Uncommon ) Time to 100% the Game : 70 hours Completed in 3 weeks, 1 day Difficulty : 3 / 10 Game Rating : 8.5 / 10 Personal impression : The game is great, from the first to the last minute. I enjoyed the whole story and all the cinematic cutscenes. The combat feels super smooth and fast-paced. I didn't encounter a single bug or glitch during my 70 hours of playtime. The performance of this game is excellent, even in big boss fights. And of course, EVE, the main character, is amazing in every way. I spent 65 hours on my first playthrough and rushed through NG+ in 5 hours. There's no difficulty if you play on story mode. Some trophies are missable, but if you follow a guide, you'll be fine. I have to deduct 0.5 points from my personal game rating because some of the regions look very simple, just like some desert areas. There isn’t much to explore. I also have to deduct another 1.0 point because many of the side quests are quite repetitive—finding someone or killing something. But that's fine. The game is still an 8.5/10.0 and a great choice to play.

  24. Dead Space Remake (PS5) Time for completion: 47 hrs Experienced this classic during three (3) enjoyable, tense play throughs. Since I’ve never played the original; my first run was on a medium difficulty. Completely blind, spoiler free which is how I like to approach any survivor horror game. Lights off, 3D audio headphones, volume up - complete sensory overload. Terrifying, immersive, and memorable are the words that come to mind when I reflect. 2nd play through on NG+ was to mop up collectibles on story mode and to get the respective NG+ trophy plus alternative ending. The last play though was on the impossible difficulty, which ended up being my way run. Only died 4 times mostly because I was getting impatient in the latter chapters when the hordes were getting dense. Fortunately, I saved my permadeath treatment with the ol’ pause, exit, start over technique before it registered any of the reckless deaths. I’m not great at survivor horror genres, so I was proud of myself. Strong recommendation ONLY if you like these types of games.

  25. Finished a bonus game, Red Dead Redemption II! Also my 100th platinum!!!!!!!! This is really, really special game. Words can't describe how much I loved the Red Dead journey. I initially began gaming at all with the PS1 and 2 as a kid, but having moved to the Xbox consoles in the 2010's, I came back to PlayStation in 2019. I've been playing on here for 5 years. Half a decade. And it's all culminated with the big 100! There's so much beauty in this game- while there is a narrative progression on the themes of "redemption", I adore how Rockstar conveys this through the vastness of the American Frontier; RDR2 has you engage with the sprawling city of Saint Denis, carried by a cultural hotbed of hundreds of people working to make a living; you've got women fighting for the right to vote, you have those who bask in wealth enjoying the fine arts, you've got dastardly individuals who commit crimes through the alleyways, running away from lawmen.Even the saloon, which has gentlemanly figures donned with suits and ties hitting it big with some gambling or enjoying a fine drink is starkly contrasted by the urban town of Valentine, a personification of the atypical spaghetti western locale whose saloon is more drunken and tomfoolish- this is even communicated through some random encounters where drunken townsfolk will beg you to point them which way to get home. You've got Annesburg, which has teenagers and adults with nothing left, practically slaving away in the mines, and this is further exemplified by the town's waters being bogged with oil, compared to the lush rivers present elsewhere across the world; it's these small details that really set apart each area. The story fills you with hope, tragedy, and the renewal of aspirations that push the characters forward. Across RDR1 and RDR2, civilisation is sweeping in. The world has cast outlaws aside. Do Arthur Morgan and John Marston fight nature? Do they fight change? Do they fight against the gravity of it all? What will civilization challenge them with- or rather- what will they strive to become in an ever-changing world? Please, please play this game. I've reached 100 platinums now, but this one here is remarkable, simply remarkable. I'd already finished my tier, but I'll have this down to get another point! 1. 26. #303 Stellar Blade Pretty fantastic game. Took about 60 hours for the platinum. The collectible soda cans were less of a hassle to find than I thought. Your little robot drone pretty much notifies you whenever a can is nearby. The post-launch update included additional NG+ trophies which was a welcomed surprise. Also, loved collecting all the outfits, like this absurd bear suit. 🐻

  27. Another delayed update. Hope you all have been well! Over the past few weeks I have still been grinding my backlog / games pretty hard, so here are my Platinums since last update! Platinum 201 South Park: The Stick of Truth (PS3) Gap: 10 Years, 4 Weeks, 1 Day After a literal decade I booted this game up again and knocked out the Platinum. Having to follow a guide for the game this time to collect all the missables was not too bad and I enjoyed this platinum experience. Still had a good few chuckles along the way and the gameplay holds up and is still pretty decent. Wild to think how much has changed in 10 years, between being in my second year of Uni compared to coming up on 7 years at my current workplace and getting married soon! Given the Missables and the need to follow a guide I don't think I can rank this game too highly. It is weird because I feel like my ranking is a bit harsh for how much fun I had, but if I am being honest with myself, this game belongs in the "Pretty Good, Could be better" tier Platinum 202 Nexomon (PS5) I played this game pretty much entirely on remote play with my backbone, so this really felt like a Pokemon game (considering I was playing it on a handheld) This game was good fun and really scratched the itch I had for a game in this genre and I got to earn trophies playing one! (Compared to Pokemon) The story was pretty convoluted but truth be told I did not pay super close attention to that. The trophy list was good fun and I enjoyed this game for what it is. This game is truly the definition of a Solid and Fun game and so it is in the "Solid and Fun" Tier Platinum 203 God of War (PS3) More solid progress on the PS3 backlog. The game did not click for me at the start, but the ending really drove this game home and boosted it in my mind quite a lot. The Challenge of the gods can kiss my ass though, that was a pain! Overall though I am glad to have finally started this franchise and I am eager to tackle GOW 2 soon. This game is ranked in the "Solid and Fun games" tier, but right at the bottom alongside Borderlands. This is probably a reflection of the era of gaming it comes from. I expect future editions of the game to rank higher. Platinum 204 Medievil (PS4) This game was a weird one for me. First of all I never played the original and much like games from that time, this game did not hold my hand or really explain much of anything. With that in mind the start of this game was actually surprisingly very difficult and frustrating. It took a good chunk of the game (about half) to click and start to make sense / understand what I am meant to be doing / how to tackle the game. Truth be told initially I hated this game and thought it would rank very very low, but as it made more sense and as I got my head around it, the game got a lot more enjoyable and I had good fun. I think I will give the PS1 version a crack at some stage, so it is safe to say that this game did turn the corner for me. I have this ranked in the "Pretty Good, Could be Better" tier. Which is pretty low, but is a significant improvement from where I thought this would be ranked.

  28. Hey all! It's been a while since I've posted here and it's nice to see all your accomplishments. Keep it up! As for me...well, on May 9th I decided to start a LEGO gauntlet: complete as many LEGO games consecutively as I can (stand) without playing another game. Initially, I was going to post some funny reactions, but truth be told I really adore the LEGO games and had a blast (even though there were times where I wanted to play something different). To spare you all increased risk of carpal tunnel syndrome, I'll avoid using images and just list 'em here. LEGO City Undercover - #94 - 15.68% Still one of the best LEGO games out there. Tons to do, plenty of laughs to be had. Biggest complaint I have, however, is that it tends to crash randomly. Besides that, it's well worth a play-through. LEGO Movie: The Videogame - #95 - 21.86% LEGO Movie 2: The Videogame - #96 - 33.46% As far as movie tie-ins go, both games based on the LEGO Movie(s) are pretty good, though my preference goes to the first as I'm not a huge fan of the LEGO Worlds type of system the second game uses. LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean - #97 - 21.81% Solid entry in the LEGO archives. One of the last games to NOT use spoken dialog, it has a lot of charm. Finding the "hidden treasures" with the compass in every level is a bit of a slog, though. LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes - #98 - 17.63% LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham - #99 - 15.96% (DLC 7.53%) LEGO DC Super-Villains - #100 - 11.08% (DLC 4.95%) The "crown jewels" of the LEGO games, in my opinion. I know, I know...that should be Star Wars...but I honestly think Traveler's Tales found their stride with this series. It was interesting jumping from one game to the next and seeing how much better each installment got. I do, however, think Beyond Gotham is the best of the three, but Super-Villains is close. LEGO Jurassic World - #101 - 23.36% My all-time favorite LEGO game, by a decently far margin. I love everything about this game, but I may be biased because of my love for the movie. Still...I bet the developers at Traveler's Tales had a nice laugh using Ellie's "grunt" from the movie whenever her game version attacks. 😐 LEGO Ninjago Movie: The Videogame - #102 - 20.37% Another movie tie-in. It's not bad. It's definitely more action-oriented than the typical LEGO game, for good reason. I'm not a huge fan of the hub world, though. LEGO Harry Potter Collection: Years 1-4 - #103 - 21.68% LEGO Harry Potter Collection: Years 5-7 - #104 - 35.91% A nice set of games here. They did a great job re-creating the movies in LEGO format. There are a few game mechanics that I didn't like, such as the insistence in using polyjuice potion to change characters in free-play and the clunky nature of changing spells. Still, it's a fun time. LEGO The Lord of the Rings - #105 - 20.34% This is a great retelling of the story through the LEGO lens, but it's really showing its age. Running it straight from the PS3 led to some rather ugly framerate issues and made me wish there was a digital version available on the Network (though it may not have made much difference seeing as you can literally walk from the Shire to Mount Doom without loading anything - they definitely pushed the PS3's hardware on this one more than any other). LEGO Star wars III: The Clone Wars - #106 - 12.32% LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens - #107 - 20.48% (DLC 9.27%) Both of the Star Wars games I played were okay, and I applaud the developers for trying something completely different in The Clone Wars with the ground assault missions, but...I don't know...by this time I guess I was just eager to blast through these two as fast as I could. I am glad they decided not to make individual games for Episode VIII and IX of the movies, otherwise we may not have gotten the excellent Skywalker Saga game. LEGO The Incredibles - #108 - 27.10% Yeah...not much to say about this one. The hub was fun and I loved how they utilized Elastigirl's powers...but the "smash the button family builds" were just...the worst. And there you have it. There are a few more LEGO games I want to run through, but none of them are currently available to me in any format, so I officially ended the streak with House Flipper 2. My totals: # of Days: 39 # of Gold/Cosmic/Mithril Bricks (not including DLC): 3,590 Thanks for reading this far down. Happy gaming! 👍

  29. #72 - Kena: Bridge of Spirits Rating: 9/10 Difficulty: 5/10 I adored this one; Kena is a heartfelt and joyous experience. The art style is dripping with vibrance and colour, expertly crafted with Pixar-esque precision and love, and the score is - plainly - sensational; varying from playfully fluty to chorally haunting. The narrative is quite simple, but I found it to be - almost surprisingly - astute, emotionally resonant, and very well-delivered. On numerous occasions, I really felt something, which was quite interesting off the back of A Plague Tale, which elicited almost no strong feelings from me at any point. Platforming is basic, as is exploration, but there is just something so so satisfying in both. You are consistently coming across collectibles, which offer minor enjoyment or considerable improvement to your combat ability. On that note, combat is a touch rudimentary but very serviceable, with a few upgrades providing some much-needed and enjoyable latitude. As thoroughly ventilated by the community, there is a fairly steep difficulty curve. I elected to pursue Master difficulty on NG+, which would ordinarily seem to be the most plausible approach. However, the scaling in NG+ somewhat nullified my upgraded outfit. I had a few tricky encounters that required many retries, but I never found myself stuck; at all times, I felt like I could and would succeed against any boss or enemy mob. The challenge can definitely prove frustrating, but more unfortunately, it illuminates the simplicity of the combat system and requires one to invoke certain overpowered attacks (looking at you Rot Bomb and Dash). An absolute pleasure to play, made with the most obvious sincerity and love.

  31. Tier 2 complete! (0.79%) Hawken 💯 - May 20th (2.82%) flOw (PS4) 💯 - May 24th (2.16%) flOw (PS3) 💯 - May 25th (3.78%) flOw (PS VITA) 💯 - May 26th (1.17%) Brawlout - June 30th Ten games complete as we reach the halfway point of the year, pretty happy with that! Another ten would be a really solid year of gaming put down, have plenty to choose from going forward. I definitely want to chuck in a few more time extensive games as the year progresses. Hawken - A very quick and easy F2P 100%. It's an online mech game that is pretty much dead, but you're able to match up against bots which enables you to obtain most of the trophies solo. Everything can be done in a few hours, with only three of them requiring a boosting partner. I've seen it on the lists of a few other participants and said I might as well play it too! flOw (x3) - I had access to all three stacks since I bought Journey Collector's Edition so I figured why not complete them all. It's a decent game, very short, but doesn't really compare to Journey or Flower. Those are way more memorable for sure. You essentially use the motion controls to navigate your way through levels that are stacked in layers, that are filled with either food, enemy creatures, or both. Your goal is to make it to the final layer and eat the level complete egg. PS3 version is the easiest as you can perform a glitch install to cheese four of the trophies just by beating the final level. On top of that, you can also add a second controller to help with the toughest trophy, Cannibalism. PS4 version is slightly more difficult as there's no way to glitch the install, but you're still able to add a second controller to help with the two bogey trophies, the aforementioned Cannibalism and Vegetarian. The Vita stack is a different story as there is no way to cheese any of the trophies. It ends up being a difficult, frustrating 100% to achieve. I ended up doing both of the bogey trophies on the first stage. Vegetarian wasn't too bad in the end, but Cannibalism really tested my patience. This trophy asks you to eat every advanced creature while simultaneously avoiding eating any food. Some of the creatures towards the end are a real pain in the ass to eat, and if they attack you they hit you back up a layer where your at risk of eating food once more. I got there eventually, but I'd probably recommend avoiding this version if you value your sanity 😂 Brawlout - Rarely play fighting games but this one caught my eye as it had couch co-op trophies so I said I'd go for it. It has a bunch of boring trophies, with the challenge coming from the three tower trophies, the hard arcade tower in particular. Thankfully you can exit the game and retain your progression otherwise this would've been a very difficult completion. You need to complete 165 couch games, 75 ranked games and win 300 1v1 games (600 total with a boosting partner). My final playtime was 25 hours, but it certainly felt longer than that!

  32. Tier 5 completed: Baja: Edge of Control HD (1.93%) 100% Battlefield 3 (2.71% / 0.89%) 100% Dirt 3 (2.60% / 1.10%) 100% EA Sports FC 24 (1.67%) 100% Magicka 2 (1.34%) 100% Baja: Edge of Control is a decent off-road racing game, the handling feels good and the soundtrack is what stands up the most imo. Unfortunately, the trophies are buggy, they'll start acting weird after you get Mille Bournes, popping at random times after you meet the requirement and even needing a manual sync on your profile from time to time. Luckily, at least for me, nothing fully glitched and everything eventually popped. There's a little grind towards Deux Mille Bournes at the end, but nothing is hard as long as you make sure to never upgrade your vehicle. I wasn't planning on doing Battlefield 3 at first since I can't complete the entire series anyway, but I thought that it'd be fun to play with some friends and it'd also be kinda of a shame to miss COD biggest competitor at the time. The campaign is alright, the co-op is really fun and the multiplayer is... too slow for my liking. The hardest difficult on both campaign and co-op was pretty easy and you can boost everything (with the exception of one ribbon) with 4 players in the MP. Dirt 3 is a banger, hands down one of the best racing games that I've played. The handling, the physics, the tracks, the atmosphere, the soundtrack, everything felt so good. The multiplayer trophies weren't that bad, you can AFK for around 15 hours for one trophy and get the rest done in less than 3 hours. DiRT Tour is where you'll spend most of the time, there are a lot of races to do. Since you can do everything on the lowest difficulty, the races themselves are easy. The hardest part is getting platinum on DC Challenges (special events like stunts, speedrun, drift, etc.), some of them have a tight time. I already talked about EA Sports FC 24 when I completed the PS4 version, at the time I auto-popped the grindy UT trophies and re-did everything with the exception of Clubs trophies, since I'd need to boost them again. I'll try to keep up with this series, and that means all the stacks too. I've played Magicka 2 with a friend and we had a lot of fun, the amount of stuff that you can do gameplay-wise on this game is insane. We left our lobbies open and two legends came in, Eredil and Ovinnik, they carried the shit out of us on the hardest difficulty. The skill gap is insane, the amount of crazy stuff that these two pulled of was wild, it was like watching magic (or should I say magick? haha) tricks. --- What's next? Bloodhunt and both stacks of BF4.

  33. Platinum 78- Ghost of Tsushima I just want to say I can't believe it took me nearly 4 years to actually give this game a chance and what a game it is. First of all I want to praise the overall look off the game as you go through different seasons, the landscape is so beautiful and might be one off the best looking games I have played. The story is so good and draws you in from the start off the war with the Samurai's and the main antagonists of the game, The Mongols. You play as Jin a member of clan Sakai. You are introduced as the nephew/ward of Lord Shimura who is the Jito (translated as Land Head as they are appointed by the Shogun) of Tsushima. At the start of the game Lord Shimura is taken captive by General Khotun Khan who is apart of the Mongol Empire. During the story you meet allies who lead to side missions called Tales of which add to the overall side stories called Tales of Tsushima which works out as roughly 69 side stories that are needed to be completed. You meet Yuna, Taka, Lady Masako, Kenji, Norio and Sensei Sadanobu Ishikawa who guide you during the fights against he Mongols. I won't spoil the story because I can't give it justice in words but it is worth playing. The combat is really fun and adds to the experience as you have different stances you have to master whilst going through the game. Throughout the game you will also end up with one on one duels which work out as boss fights and mini boss fights, which is where the combat really adds to the game. I really enjoyed my time with this game, I would say it's worth playing if you haven't already.

  34. Update time: first card complete! Unfortunately, the good Lord made me wrong as a joke, and I don't have the time I'd like or need to do anything resembling proper writeups. Blurbs are all I've got: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and The Lost Crown are my first toes dipped into the classic series. Both are great for their own reasons, but it's clear as day why Ubisoft has had so much trouble settling on a scope for the former's remake. The latter is an excellent metroidvania that runs the gamut from strong to best-in-class in almost every category. Dordogne is a charming and laid-back adventure game, presented in the hazy watercolor of distant memories. Unfortunately, it's French, but I'm willing to look past that. Rebel Transmute is another metroidvania, but full of enough strange idiosyncrasies that it's not as easy to recommend as Prince of Persia. Issues like convoluted-yet-mandatory movement techniques existing without so much as a hint make for a frustrating experience, but the moment-to-moment gameplay is competent at worst. Startenders is an arcade restaurant sim in the vein of Cook, Serve, Delicious!, but it's in VR (and there's aliens). It's also filled with enough Quirky™ millennial Youtuber humor to kill even the most seasoned of cringe comedy enjoyers. Narita Boy is a strange midpoint between action and cinematic platformers-- I'd almost say it's as close to metroidvania as you can get without actually being one. It's at a similar midpoint with its style and themes, '80s technostalgia grafted onto Japanese mysticism, and while it tells its story with the same boldness of language that I loved in games like Anodyne 2 and Norco, here it rang hollow. Really didn't enjoy it much. Deliver Us the Moon and Deliver Us Mars are narrative adventures I played via PS+. Moon is a fairly straightforward walking sim that wouldn't feel out of place in the company of Everybody's Gone to the Rapture et al., while Mars feels much more ambitious, taking cinematic and setpiece cues from 7th-gen AAA titles like Uncharted. Liked the first, loved the second, and backed the ongoing Kickstarter for the third! Tales of Kenzera: Zau is a metroidvania that reminds me a lot of Itorah, one of my least favorite games that I played for last year's event. Nowhere near as bad, though. A heartfelt story and strong art direction are let down by uninteresting level and world design, poor combat, and a host of technical (and adjacent) problems. I'm glad it launched on PS+. Tunic and Animal Well are conceptually similar old-school adventures concealing some of the deepest puzzle rabbit holes around. Both are excellent, and each has its strengths and weaknesses, but at the end of the day Tunic solves with elegance several key problems that Animal Well is content to run into face-first. Tunic's 'Secret Treasure #4' does deserve a shout, though, as (in my opinion) the worst video game puzzle of all time. A black stain on an otherwise golden game. To Hell with the Ugly is a fittingly striking narrative adventure about "beautiful people." Bogged down a bit by superfluous mechanics (like an RPG battle system that's used maybe 5 times), but I very much enjoyed it. What the Golf? bills itself as "a golf game for people who hate golf." I'd describe it as a "novelty simulator," interested primarily in subverting expectations with each new level. Very cute game! Immortality is an FMV-based detective game whose Slaughterhouse-Five approach to non-linearity I found unsatisfying. I stumbled into the credits sequence after less than an hour, and at every point before and after felt like I was bumbling into answers and revelations before I even knew what questions I was meant to be asking. Definitely a game that's worth playing and appreciating, but I had a difficult time doing so without the benefit of hindsight. Penny's Big Breakaway is a Sonic-style 3D platformer that prioritizes technical movement mechanics and conservation of momentum in service of "gotta go fast"-ing. I had a really great time with it, which I can't say for any actual Sonic titles, but it is unfortunately in a really unpolished state-- and that's, to my understanding, after several patches. Expect to take needless deaths falling through floors, through walls, off of ziplines, and so on at least once per level. Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue! is a childhood favorite PS1 platformer that I was thrilled to see finally receive a trophy list. I never had a PS1 as a kid; instead I played a PC copy whose box read TOY STORY ACTION GAME. I'm somehow still unsure whether it was a bootleg. Now for rankings, as is tradition:

  36. No. 58 - Street Fighter V 0.89% Enjoyment: 1/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Probably my least favorite platinum ever so far. This game was pretty miserable and I really didn't find any part of it fun. Thankfully self-boosting the game is super easy and took almost no time at all. The worst part was the FM grind. It took me around 1920 rounds of survival to get to 1 million and I can say it was the most boring gaming experience I've ever had to go through. It is also the first game I was legitimately falling asleep during gameplay. This almost took longer then Persona 4 Arena AND Ultra Street Fighter IV combined. which is batshit insane considering how much easier this one is. Horrible game, but we take a free sub 1% platinum.

  38. Game #3 for my Tier 1 - Lone Survivor After sitting on my trophy list for 10 years and 7 months, I finally got the plat for this game! It's not that hard overall, just has some tricky missables and requires a couple of different playthroughs with different restrictions. Like no fast travel or no firing your gun, etc. It can be slow and annoying, but I still mostly enjoyed it. Only took 12-ish hour but I dragged it out over a couple of weeks. Also missed a health tonic at one point and had to start my white ending playthrough completely over. But whatever, it's done now! Putting it on my summer backlog challenge list was the final bit of motivation I needed. Tier 1 - 1. Eldest Souls (PS5) 2.51% 6/3/2024 2. Metrico (Vita) 3.62% 6/11/2024 3. 40. #310: Epic Cycle - Assassin's Creed: Odyssey After Origins I was aiming to play this eventually to see how the whole RPG formula went and despite hearing how this was a downgrade from Origins I feel like I actually liked this more than Origins and I think a part of that is you are seeing more than mostly desert and the way the Greek world is shown just felt really captivating. So captivating in fact that I wound up using the photo mode a lot more than I normally do. Really, there was just so many moments where I felt really lost in the scenery that I feel like you could take just about any screenshot and make it a wallpaper. A lot of areas are just beautiful to look at especially on the northern side of the map where you can see yellow leaves and other autumn colors that made me wish I was there in the moment. They did a fantastic job making the world look nice and detailed, even with me doing all the quests there were still areas I hadn't explored and throughout the game I would come across towns that I didn't think there would be. In terms of gameplay I'm not sure how it compares to Origins because it's been a while since I played Origins but I guess it is mostly the same. I do think it kind of does the thing Origins does where you're sort of just thrown into the game without too much of a tutorial or learning who all the characters are but I think after the beginning part the game does start to introduce you to them and the mechanics better. It does feel like there is a lot more in terms of choices in regards to the story this time around too, with me loading saves if I felt like I made a bad choice in a questline. Some of the earlier quests you do can also affect other ones later down the storyline too. Speaking of, I guess I wound up picking the non-canon character and in the family questline I wound up getting the less tragic outcome for it. Whoops! But I still think I liked playing as Alexios more since it felt like the story was more tailored for him and I felt like he did the range of emotions very well. I feel like the only thing that doesn't make sense for him is that he can become leader of the Daughters of Artemis even if he does earn that through legit means. But like I said, I guess I wound up not getting the true ending anyway which is kind of a shame but I felt like he went through a lot for it to end up the way it was supposed to. For the DLC, it takes the more ideal path for DLC that I like where it actually adds some extra story and questlines and not just some slapped on gimmick that I wouldn't want to play otherwise. Legacy of the First Blade is my favorite of the bunch since it goes into a bit of your character becoming a parent and you see how the Assassin and Templar stuff started out, taking place even before Origins. It was done really well and I looked forward to starting each episode. The Fate of Atlantis was also neat too since it goes more into the Isu stuff and I liked how it explains certain Greek myths like the Cyclops and such along with seeing Atlantis in general. You also see Elysium and the Underworld which was also cool to see and thankfully the Underworld didn't overstay its welcome because the bleak atmosphere was kind of draining to look at. I'm not really knocking it since I get that it's the point of it being the Underworld but I didn't want to be stuck looking at it too long however the questlines there were also nice especially in regards to a certain couple characters that wind up dying in the main story. All in all I feel like if you can get the Gold or Ultimate edition of this game on sale then you get a pretty big package that feels like a big adventure. I guess like Origins it comes at the cost of it not being like the traditional Assassin's Creed games so I guess your mileage may vary but I think the storylines were good enough to be invested in especially if you are into the setting and I don't really mind the RPG style combat since even if it is repetitive I would say it's not frustrating or feels like it does anything cheap for difficulty. If there is one undeniable positive about it, it's the movement. Climbing and running around feels like a dream since you basically move and jump or climb the way you want to and there isn't much you can't climb on. They more or less perfected the movement and it's a shame that apparently they have managed to take a step back from this with Mirage going by what I read in an earlier post. The trophies are pretty simple with it basically just being a checklist kind of thing that you don't have to worry about much with. I think another bonus is that you get 94 trophies total. But as far as the main game goes the only one that might be kind of tricky is the Hermes Homie one where you have to visit every area because the map is very large and even by the end of doing all the quests I still didn't find every area. My best advice for it is to save it as one of the last trophies you do and then just see what is grayed out on the map. I went out of my way to get the sync points so the way I narrowed it down was if there wasn't a sync point or nothing discovered there then I didn't visit it. Apparently there used to be a missable trophy in the first Fate of Atlantis list however I guess it got fixed in a patch but I managed to do it before doing the final main quest of that one. For context it's related to a quest where you have to knock out and recruit 8 enemies in each area of Elysium but for some reason I never saw anyone mention to make it much easier by just unequipping your weapon so you will automatically knock them out by hitting them with your fists enough and then recruiting them. Other than that there isn't much that really sticks out. In the other DLC's you are required to use certain abilities for certain things but they aren't difficult to do, in fact I got a few of them by normally playing. But now that my odyssey is over, who knows where my next Assassin's Creed journey will take me. Maybe I will go Rogue, or maybe I will take some wisdom from when my mother told me some day I will buy a galley with good oars to sail to distant shores.

  41. The second of the Dlc trophies can now be found! First find Selene to the left of the minigun chest found by @SKILLIR: Then stand on this Astrounaut and get yourself killed by one of the green slime shooting enemies, while surrounded by a glowing ring.

  42. Update time for card number two! Granblue Fantasy: Relink - I love this game to death. A linear, story-driven game that morphs into Monster Hunter once you get into the endgame. Deep customization and upgrade paths, great boss battles, fun combat. A 9/10 experience for me. Daxter - Another PSP platformer. Not amazing, not horrible. Unicorn Overlord - A faster paced Fire Emblem meets Advance Wars. This game deserves way more love than its been getting. Vanillaware doesn't miss.

  43. Hello there! Very first update on my kaleidoscope (yeah I kinda procrastinated... a lot) : Felt like I had no progress on my colors, at all, until recently, but I guess it's not that bad. There. I'll try to update it more frequently for the rest of the year. I won't add much with next game since Grime will just replace my Light Blue (and the DLCs are Blue and Maroon) but I already know what to play for Tan and Brown. Green will probably be Yooka-Laylee or Transistor as it seems nothing else in my library fits in there. Keep having fun!

  44. Nova-111 https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/3803-nova-111/MrHealthy Finally did a second game this year. A turn based exploration and puzzle game on a grid, sorta. Hard to describe. The twist in some of the later levels is that some enemies are no longer turn based and instead act in real time while you are still stuck to your turns. There is one really hard trophy for beating the game without taking a single hit, but it is beneficially glitched and will pop the first time you replay a level after beating the game no matter how much damage you take. Aside from that there are collectibles that require you to get them in one go of the level for them to count. Honestly with that beneficial glitch the only reason any of these trophies is ultra rare is because it was a PS+ game in early 2016 so a lot of people tried it out and found like me that it is quite boring. It is a neat concept, and keeps introducing neat mechanics, but ultimately it always stays as just that, neat but not engaging at all. Level design never gets super creative, only a couple of the puzzles had me think twice about them, and the combat is chore. The visuals are very stylish, and are probably the highlight of the game, but even they get in the way as certain areas are difficult to read as a result of the heavy use of overlapping elements. I can't really recommend this unless you just really want some easy ultra rares. It's not outright bad, but it doesn't do anything that is worth your time. Time to put the physical Vita version on my shelf and never look at it again.

I tried to edit in a shorter version in the same post above, and the exact same thing happened again. I’m not sure what is going on, but I do know I can’t be bothered to write all that shit again so here’s a shorter shorter version lol. #395 - Ziggurat Ziggurat is a fantasy rogue-like, dungeon crawler and first person shooter game, except instead of using guns you are a wizard who wields wands, staves, magic spell books, and explosives. You fight your way through the challenge of “The Ziggurat”, a procedurally generated labyrinth filled with monsters, magic, and traps. There are 5 floors (6 on Hard mode) each with a boss at the end of the floor. I’ve had this game in the backlog now for a couple of years, so it was nice to have a chance to finally dust it off and give it a go. I ended up enjoying it quite a bit. Although it’s a lower budget game and can get a bit repetitive at times, there are 20 different character classes and a large array of weapons and perks that provide enough variety to keep the journey fun from start to finish. 90% of the trophies come naturally just by playing through the game with each character and simply enjoying yourself. The rest of the trophies can be made a lot easier by save scumming, as this is a rare rogue like that actually allows you to temporarily save your progress & quit at any given time.

  47. ( 100) FINAL FANTASY X COMPLETION Enjoyment: 100/10 Difficulty: 5/10 I finally got my 100th platinum and it’s for one of, if not my favorite game of all time 🥳. This game holds a lot of nostalgia for me as I spent hundreds of hours playing through it on the PS2 when I was a kid, both alone and with friends. Together with Kingdom Hearts, this is the game the pretty much defined my childhood and my love for the Playstation brand so it was incredible to be able to make it such a milestone. I was curious to see how it would be after all these years but thankfully it holds up really well and I loved every second of it. My wife was very surprised to see that this is my favorite game of all time but it excels at the things I love the most, a great story and characters and fantastic world-building. Even though I hadn’t played the game for 15 years I could still remember most of the areas and story-beats from the game. The story is such a highlight as it tackles very serious themes such as loss and sacrifice. I remember the revelation in Home shocking me when I was younger and the ending had me in tears just as it did all those years ago, which is not an easy task. When playing through the game I get incredibly attached to the characters and they all feel very distinct and fleshed-out. Everyone gets their moment of conflict and a moment to shine and the dialogue between the characters is fantastic. Oh and Auron is just one of the coolest characters ever created. I thought it might be my memory making him cooler than he is, but no… I still found him to be a complete bad-ass . The world of Spira is incredibly detailed and it’s one of the reasons I love the Final Fantasy games. Better than most other games, they make the world feel like a real place with different tribes and religions that all have their backgrounds. And the music… it’s so good . I still occasionally listen to Wandering and To Zanarkand and the Ending Theme never fails to get me emotional. I’m very happy the PS4 version allows you to use the original soundtrack as I find it very much superior to the remastered tracks. The gameplay is a traditional turn-based RPG. Since I know the game inside out I had no problems getting used to the controls and systems. I was surprised by how much the Sphere Grid guides you in a certain path in the beginning of the game, though you have the freedom to go anywhere you want. I really like this system since you are constantly levelling up and making progress and it allows you to customize every character in whatever way you want. Most of the fights don’t require that much strategy and on the PS2 I would often just use the overdrive of every Aeon to defeat a boss that I was struggling with. I never did that on this playthrough and never used Yojimbo to Zanmato any of the superbosses since I wanted to play the game from start to finish without any shortcuts. Even though I played the game for hundreds of hours on the PS2 I had somehow never defeated all of the Dark Aeons and Penance so this was my first time doing that. I was really looking forward to making Penance my final superboss for the platinum since it is one of the hardest bosses in all Final Fantasy games. Which made it that much worse when that trophy for defeating Penance randomly popped in the Calm Lands defeating some random enemy ⚰️. Oh well, I did defeat Penance in the end but I had to make do without the satisfying ping of a trophy. The grind is quite something in this game, but with the Don Tonberry trick it becomes very manageable. I had the most trouble getting weapons and armor with triply XP and empty slots and the weapon for Tidus just refused to drop. The customization system in the game isn’t great since you can’t remove effects and it takes a lot of material to craft things but in the end I had three characters with incredible weapons and armor. Since I love the game so much, the grind never really bothered me all that much though I can certainly understand why people are put off by it. The only thing I miss in the game is a way to see at what point it is best to try to fight a boss. In the end I was seriously overlevelled which made some of the superbosses less of a challenge than I wanted them to be. I still had my strategy guide from the PS2 era with a little note of which players to get for my Blitzball team. Thanks past me. With that team I pretty much breezed by everything in Blitzball without ever conceding a goal. The side missions that I absolutely dreaded thankfully weren’t as bad as I thought they would be. I got both the lightning dodges and the chocobo race within half an hour while I never managed to complete them on the PS2 and I did the butterfly hunt just for good measure. I wanted to fully complete the Celestial Weapons for every character even though it’s not necessary for the trophies. All in all, I loved my time with this game. It remains my favorite game of all time and I’m incredibly happy that I not only got to experience it again, but was able to make it such a milestone

  48. #75 & #76: Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth (PS4/PS5) Earned my 75th and 76th platinum trophies through Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. My second Yakuza game that I've ever platinumed (Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name was my first); no stranger to the Yakuza series as I've played almost every one of them except for Yakuza 3 and 4. Infinite Wealth improves so much from Yakuza 7 (Like a Dragon) in terms of gameplay, quality of life such as demolishing lower-level mobs instantly, and intercity-traveling. I really enjoy how in combat you can position each character, do combo attacks with party members, and use environmental objects to deal damage. In addition being able to attack someone for extra damage when they're still down. Thought the story and OST were also great, but its prequel still wins for me. Character development was solid in this title and absolutely loved playing both parties for Yokohama and Hawaii. I also had fun developing Dondoko Island. Hope to see Infinite Wealth appear in some game awards categories at the end of the year. Overall: 9.5/10 and cannot wait for the next one whenever that releases.

  49. After roughly 3 and a half years of trying to see how much I could improve my completion rate, I've finally hit 80%, up more than 30% from where I started. Pretty happy to finally hit this goal after so long. Finally reaching this mark while cheesing a few Minecraft trophies in a trophy world was a little lackluster, but I'm pretty mentally checked out with Minecraft on PSN. This milestone also comes as I'm wrapping up Black Ops 3 which will become my rarest platinum if I get it, and will surpass GTA V as both my longest platinum and longest 100% because of one trophy earned back in April 2017 lol. Overall, I'm fairly proud of the progress since returning to trophy hunting a few months ago. I don't really care about the number itself but it is nice to look at a goal I gave myself years ago and say that I saw this project through to the end, even if life managed to get in the way making things take longer than expected. This is the earliest trace I could find of me mentioning that I was gonna work on my completion rate, which I thought was kinda funny.
