You’ve learned to apply ancient martial arts to gunplay! Although many might balk at the Agility (and level) requirements, in cases where you’re facing more than one foe (which, let’s face it, is almost every occasion), a sizable damage augmentation is welcome. Remember this is for fans of V.A.T.S. only.Fallout 4 Vault Dweller's Survival Guide description

Gun Fu is an Agility perk in Fallout 4.

Effects[]

Taking ranks of this perk grants bonus damage in V.A.T.S. when attacking more than one target consecutively in a single V.A.T.S. sequence. Higher ranks grant bonus damage done to a third target and beyond as well as guarantee a Critical Hit to a fourth target and beyond.

Ranks[]

Rank Requirements Description Form ID
1 AGI 10 You've learned to apply ancient martial arts to gunplay! Do 25% more damage to your second V.A.T.S. target and beyond. 0004D881
2 AGI 10, LVL 26 In V.A.T.S. you do 50% more damage to your third target and beyond. 001D244F
3 AGI 10, LVL 50 In V.A.T.S. you instantly do a Critical Hit against your fourth target and beyond. 001D245C

Notes[]

  • V.A.T.S. allows a maximum of 16 actions to be queued, potentially allowing for 13 critical hits to be delivered.
  • This perk causes each shot in V.A.T.S. on a target after the initial target to do additional damage. Note that additional shots queued on the first target are not affected by the perk; this applies to Concentrated Fire.
  • With Rank 3, every hit on the fourth target and beyond is an automatic Critical Hit. The effect only applies to additional targets and queueing potential shots back and forth across two or more targets done before the fourth does not trigger the effect on the first target.
  • This perk synergizes with Better Criticals and Penetrator.
  • Critical Hits caused by this perk always hit the target, the same as manually executed Critical Hits do.
