    It is with great pleasure that we announce the commencement of service for FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn, on Windows PC and PlayStation®3.

    The realm of Eorzea has been reborn in every sense of the word, featuring a new and improved graphics engine, vast and breathtaking areas, a captivating FINAL FANTASY story, a comprehensive character creator, a sleek interface, and fast-paced combat.

    With an overwhelming number of participants during the alpha and beta test phases, player feedback played a significant role in shaping the game. We can confidently say we created the latest FINAL FANTASY title together with our fans.

    As we continue creating new stories and adventures in the years ahead, we pledge to spare no effort to ensure that Eorzea will always be a place that our players are proud to call home.

    We have created a page that allows users who have previously purchased FINAL FANTASY XIV version 1.0 to download the FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn game client free of charge.

    Proceed to the FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn game client download page.

    * This client can also be used to participate in early access.
    * For those who have installed the FFXIV: A Realm Reborn client during Beta Test phase 4, you may continue to use the same client for both early access and the official launch.

    Welcome Back Campaign
    For those who have purchased FINAL FANTASY XIV version 1.0 and registered their registration code by Saturday, September 29, 2012, you are eligible to participate in the Welcome Back Campaign, where you will be able to play FFXIV: A Realm Reborn for free until Monday, September 9, 2013.

    * For those who wish to continue playing after Monday, September 9, 2013, you must subscribe to the service moving forward.
    * For those who are planning to participate in the Welcome Back Campaign to play FFXIV: A Realm Reborn, you may use the game client available for download on the game client download page listed above.

Those who have registered preorder codes or fulfilled the requirements of the Legacy Campaign may begin playing August 24, 2013, 2:00 a.m. (PDT). Prepare yourselves for new adventures in the realm of Eorzea!
