Free companies are player-run organizations which allow their members to pool resources, be it items or gil, to accomplish feats that would be difficult or impossible for a single individual.
The benefits of joining a free company include a dedicated chat channel for all members, the ability to purchase an estate to serve as the group's base of operations, and the use of free company actions that grant bonuses such as increased experience points.
No two free companies share the same goals and motivations, so be sure to choose the free company that's right for you.
Linkshells and cross-world linkshells are chat groups which allow for quick and easy communication between players who are not necessarily in a party or free company. Unlike free companies, players are able to join multiple linkshells, making it possible to join different communities dedicated to various aspects of the game.
Linkshells: allow communication with any players on the same World.Teamwork is key, so be sure to find a team with whom you're confident you can hone your skills together.

Howzit going. We are Da Melting Pot. Just a casual, chillax, and cruise mode group from all over the globe. We started out in 2013 with ARR. Trying to rebuild from a very long break from the game and now that it's on Xbox. Main purpose of DMP is to game and have fun. No stress, no toxic, no criticism. Just play how you like, help to be helped and progress in the game. Open to all types of gamers just as long as you be respectful and mindful that not everyone is the same, plays the same, same ability to learn and react. Aloha and have a great day. Yes we are open for Free Trial members also. A lot of our new Ohana members are experiencing FFXIV for the 1st time and Free Trial is the best way for them.

BTW our CWLS which you are requesting to join has other players from different data centers. We use discord to better coordinate assist and help / runs. They usually world travel to Midgardsormr to do that. Our other LS is strictly Midgardsormr members most of which are Free Trial members. Either way we use Discord and Facebook the most for main communicating outside of the game. Do you use either or both?

Howzit Reina. What can help also if you go to fellowships and look for Da Melting Pot it should be there. You should be able to just join or request to join it. This will be much easier to get you an invite into our CWLS because I can click on your character from there and as long as you're online it'll prompt a request to join and accept it. Howzit going Moose. Same boat here. I just returned in April. Was just glad our FC and LS was still here. So at least I just have to rebuild it lol. I'm about to head to work. Search us up in the Fellowship Finder in game. Join it and drop a message there about joining the CWLS. One of members who can send an invite will get you then. If not I'll be sure to try and get you when I get home from work. Some of us do check the message boards on it lol.

Filter search by recruiters home world Midgardsormr. I check the Fellowship in the morning before work and at night when I get a chance to log in. Others do also and can invite from there also.

Howzit going Duude. I don't mind as we do have other DMP members that are on Primal / Hyperion , Behemoth. They travel to Aether / Midgardsormr when we need help with stuff or just to run content. However atm world travel is unavailable ( unless same data center ) due to worlds being congested. You're on Crystal so it's kinda hard atm to get you an invite. If somehow you can manage to get on Aether join our Fellowship through the Fellowship finder. This way I can invite you.
