"Breivik announced that he did not recognize the legitimacy of the court and therefore did not accept its decision—he decided not to appeal, saying this would legitimize the authority of the Oslo District Court".--Can all this stuff be moved out of the lede? (I, for one, am fine with move.) 46.15.96.152 (talk) 22:46, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What kind of a sentence is this below ie why is it written as if clarification is added to a quote?[edit]
"The verdict [was] appealed [and a final verdict exists], and Breivik and his lawyer [launched] a lawsuit (in a non-Norwegian court) regarding the conditions of his imprisonment and alleged violations of the European Convention on Human Rights, [and the last-mentioned lawsuit, was not heard in court]."
Good question. Why are all the square brackets there? Are they commmentary? Corrections? Whatever the case, they really should be removed. --Slp1 (talk) 19:00, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please move from lede (to, say, this talk page)[edit]
"Two teams of court-appointed forensic psychiatrists examined Breivik before his trial. The first team diagnosed Breivik with paranoid schizophrenia, but after this initial finding was criticized, a second evaluation concluded that he was not psychotic during the attacks but did have narcissistic personality disorder and antisocial personality disorder."--Justification: the main trials are mentioned, and judges have convicted him (2011, 2012, and at least one more time).--No verdict has sentenced him to serve time in a mental health facility.--All the mental health stuff can be mentioned in the rest of the article, and in the sections dedicated to all his trials.--Please be bold, and move from lede (to, say, this thread or Talk page).--And then i will suggest how we can trim the lede even further. 2001:2020:331:B91D:3934:C29:BDF:3F9 (talk) 18:17, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
"and that he rented a farm as a cover for a fake farming company buying fertilizer (3 tons for producing explosives and 3 tons of a harmless kind to avoid suspicion) and as a lab".--Some stuff needs to go from lede - to Talk page. Other stuff, might just 'need to go'. 2001:2020:331:B91D:A516:1FE9:A99F:7156 (talk) 21:26, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
