Overload is a Sorcerer ultimate skill in the Storm Calling skill line in The Elder Scrolls Online.

Description[]

Light and Heavy Attacks are replaced with empowered versions that drain ultimate. Toggle to activate.

  • Unlocked at Storm Calling rank 12.

Energy Overload[]

  • Update 6: Reduced the initial cost of Overload and its morphs to 75 Ultimate from 125 Ultimate.[1]
  • Update 7: Increased the amount of Magicka returned to you by 300%. This ability also now scales more appropriately with Veteran Ranks.[2]
  • Update 8: Fixed an issue where Ranks I-III were returning less magicka than intended.[3]

Power Overload[]

  • Update 2: This no longer uses the same ability bar as the werewolf.[4]
  • Update 6: Reduced the initial cost of Overload and its morphs to 75 Ultimate from 125 Ultimate.[1]
  • Update 6: Overload and Power Overload will now properly scale their damage off Weapon Damage and Stamina in the event that they are higher than Spell Power and Magicka.[1]
  • Update 9: Fixed an issue where Rank IV of this morph was not gaining a damage bonus.[5]

  • Update 2: Significantly increased the light attack damage and cost for this ability. Ride the lightning! [4]
  • Update 3: You will now turn to face your target when attacking with this ability. We also fixed an issue where your weapon would occasionally still appear in your hands while this ability was active.[6]
  • Update 5: Fixed an issue where this ability's graphical effect could get stuck on you if the ability is toggled off during a heavy attack[7]
  • Update 6: Reduced the initial cost of Overload and its morphs to 75 Ultimate from 125 Ultimate.[1]
  • Update 6: Overload light attacks no longer trigger the global cooldown, which will result in an overall increase to Overload DPS.[1]
  • Update 6: Overload and Power Overload will now properly scale their damage off Weapon Damage and Stamina in the event that they are higher than Spell Power and Magicka.[1]
  • Update 7: The light attack effects are now much larger![2]
  • Update 8: Fixed an issue where Overload Heavy Attacks would continue to channel without properly displaying visual effects after you released the button.[3]
