Pollster and founder of FiveThirtyEight, Nate Silver and sent shockwaves among the US residents with his latest statement that reigning President Joe Biden should step down from his Chair and hand over the Presidency to VP Kamala Harris just ahead of the US Presidential Elections in November. After Joe Biden's US Presidential Debate performance, where he was practically steamrolled by the opposition's Presidential candidate Donald Trump, Silver feels it is fitting that Biden discontinue his term and let Harris set affairs in order, according to a report by USA Today.

Is Biden actually recusing himself from US Presidential Elections 2024?

Biden, in a recent interview has said that he will not step down from the US Presidential poll race until 'The Lord Almighty' convinces him to do so. Before Silver's shocking statement in an interview, he also wrote a rather skeptical column about Biden's bleak chances in the Presidential poll race but did not outrightly write him off. In the column, there was no mention that Biden should drop out of the poll race but after the Presidential Debate fiasco, Silver's opinion saw a huge change.
