As Arnaud De Bruyn said during his announcement of the EMAC-Enginius Best Doctoral Dissertation Award, these three finalists gave the committee a hard time deciding on the winner! Interesting topics and great execution will do that, so we expect great things from this fantastic trio! Congratulations again on a job well done to the finalists and their thesis supervisors: 🥇 Dr. David Finken, ETH Zürich PhD at University of Lucerne, supervisor: Reto Hofstetter 🥈 Yufei Shen, Nova School of Business and Economics PhD at HEC Paris, supervisor: Xitong Li 🥉 Dr. Maximilian Beichert, HEC Paris PhD at University of Mannheim, supervisor: Florian Stahl We are also very grateful to Enginius and Arvind Rangaswamy for supporting EMAC and this award.

The EMAC Annual (Spring) Conference is a time when we celebrate a lot of successes of distinguished scholars that shaped marketing as a discipline. It was our great pleasure to award P. K. Kannan from University of Maryland the EMAC Distinguished Scholar Award for 2024. His speech on his beginnings, challenges, great ideas and successes, along with the relationships he's built and impact he's made only confirm the way we think about him as a scholar, mentor and to many - a friend. Congratulations again P.K. - very well deserved!
