We want Def Jam not UFC. UFC is a fun game but you're missing out on A LOT of money from old fans and the new fans that this game could possibly generate. We're not asking for a complete remake, not even a remaster. More like a rerelease version of the game. This was a staple in the gaming community, regardless of what you may think. Just take a look on YouTube of all the people that still play this game. Could you imagine what it would do if people could purchase on the PS4, even the PS5?..... I hope you get this message.

ALTERNATIVE maybe?

I get that you guys can't remaster or remake due to publishing, characters and etc.

What about an alternative, instead of naming it Def jam FFNY you can call it Battle ffla or ffnv. Use generic characters instead of rappers. Make a good story, you could even use real ppl likeness or get reasonable price contracts with different stars besides rappers or just stick to the generic characters but make them look like ppl we see on tv or somewhat similar far as like their hometown or state, characters from certain states or countries get random ppl to do their dialogue like you do for your other games. Instead of using the soundtrack that's on FFNY just get a dope soundtrack with random songs like you do for Madden, doesn't even have to be a lot of songs. So basically generic characters, same fighting styles and mechanics , generic clothes or get a contract to use certain brands, jewelry (literally can be generic ideas or already created ideas with generic names, generic tattoos, a new made up generic story involving those generic characters that you made (which should be easy for a company such as yourself. Use the likeness of real life people but add your own twist to them. For example: instead of Method Man/blaze like FFNY make a character name Pyro from NY get a voice actor from NY so the dialogue can be true to the culture and just a created face. Notice how everyone is making battle royals/ side scroll fighting games (multiverse, smash bros, brawlhalla) but with their own twist and characters? You could literally do that with FFNY but with a new title and your own twist and generic characters. Yes I get ppl gravitated towards the rappers and the soundtrack but at the end of the day if the game wasn't designed the way it was it wouldn't have been such a success. Look at Def jam icon for example we all can agree it was a horrible game even tho it had a good soundtrack and rappers that we liked but you took away the very essence that we appreciated about the first two titles......A VERY GOOD VIDEO GAME WITH GREAT FIGHTING MECHANICS THAT WERE DIVERSE. Which gave the game diversity and made it such a success. I promise you if ppl saw trailers of the game resembling the style of FFNY even with generic characters, a different franchise name but the same fighting mechanics but with better graphics and maybe even a new fighting style added with cool characters (doesn't have to be celebrities) which would also save you money in the end by using your own characters/creations instead of likeness of real life rappers/celebrities. Man ppl would love it. The fighting community itself would eat it up not to mention the younger generation that never experienced FFNy or vendetta. It'll give them a chance to see what they're missing and if you do your research of ppl playing FFNy you can see the ppl wishing they could play something so refreshing and different from your average fighting games. Think of all the possibilities you could do when you're using generic characters made by the developers with random voice actors saying the lines of those characters. Just an idea.
