The Systech Corporation was a company involved in the manufacture of weapons—such as the Systech aural blaster—as well as a wide variety of other types of products—possibly droids—during the Old Sith Wars of the Old Republic era. HK-47, a HK-series assassin droid, was designed to resemble a Systech Corporation protocol droid available around the time; later HK-series model continued the trend, and HK-47 himself worked for Systech for a time.
Behind the scenes[]
Although in his initial encounter with Revan HK-47 claims to be a Systech model of droid, further investigations aided by a high repair skill will reveal the truth: that the assassin droid did in fact indirectly cause the breakup of this corporation some time before the outbreak of the Jedi Civil War.
