The Relatta system was a part of the Inner Rim. It was situated on the super-hyperroute known as the Perlemian Trade Route, which connected it to the Chazwa, Tirahnn,[1] and Rigovia systems[3] and served as the dividing line between the regions known as the Northern Dependencies and the Slice.[1]
At one point by 0 BBY,[4] the Alderaanian Noshy Heer decided to take a short trip to the Relatta system in order to try out gambling at its casinos. He soon lost all of his money at the venues; being unconcerned with that turn of events, however, he found a freighter that was likely to travel to his homeworld,[2] the Core Worlds planet[1] Alderaan. Intending to pay for the trip by working aboard the starship during the voyage, Heer then quickly persuaded the captain of the vessel to take him along, and the freighter departed the Relatta system.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
The Relatta system was first mentioned in the 1995 West End Games Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game supplement Heroes & Rogues, which was written by Paul Sudlow and Rick Stuart.[2] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed it in grid square N-8.[1]

- ↑ The Essential Guide to Warfare places the Rigovia system on the Perlemian Trade Route between the Chazwa and Tirahnn systems, and The Essential Atlas in turn places the Relatta system on that same segment of the super-hyperroute; therefore, the Relatta and Rigovia systems must have been connected by it.
- ↑ Heroes & Rogues establishes that Noshy Heer departed the Relatta system not long before the Destruction of Alderaan, which The New Essential Chronology dates to 0 BBY.
