Foxtrot Group was an elite squad of clone commandos led by Clone Captain Gregor serving under Marshal Commander Cody and General Obi-Wan Kenobi.^[1] It operated under the Special Operations Brigade^[3] and was attached to the 212th Attack Battalion.^[1] During the second year of the Clone Wars, the unit took part in the Battle of Sarrish, which ended in disaster.^[3] Amid the mounting casualties,^[1] the unit was wiped out with the exception of Gregor, who was injured but able to survive.^[3] Gregor and his team were reported missing in action,^[4] Gregor ended up in a shuttle crash^[3] on the planet Abafar, suffering from amnesia.^[1]

Foxtrot Group was first mentioned in Gregor's military records in "Missing in Action," the twelfth episode of the canon animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars' fifth season. While the in-episode record notes Foxtrot Group to be a sub-divison of the 212th Attack Battalion,^[1] Star Wars Helmet Collection 21 claimed the group was only attached to the 212th for the Battle of Sarrish.^[3] This article assumes the Helmet Collection issue is incorrect.
