"Corellian ale... in a clean glass."
Kyle Katarn — (audio) Listen (file info)[3]

Corellian ale was a popular alcoholic beverage brewed on Corellia. It also came in a spiced variety.

Description[]

"Ah, Corellian ale. How wonderful."
Ados Jarkey, to a spacer[2]

Corellian ale had a sweet flavor and medium weight body. It was possibly the most common alcholic beverage in the galaxy.[2] Corellian ale was purple in coloration.[1]

History[]

"I need to know if I can suck down more Corellian ale than a bantha. Problem is, I haven't yet found a bantha that drinks. Does that mean I win by default?"
Jonset, to a spacer[2]

Kyle Katarn was one of many who would drink Corellian ale (though he would insist that it be served in a clean glass).[3]

While supervising Cann Doon unloading his smuggled cargo outside Jabba's Palace, Bidlo Kwerve indulged in drinking Corellian ale. He was sipping his sixth when the unloading was interrupted by the arrival of a Jawa sandcrawler.[1]

Wedge Antilles and Wes Janson shared a mutual appreciation for the drink, which contributed to their becoming close friends while members of Rogue Squadron.[4]

Han Solo ordered Corellian ale while dining in the Riverview Café in the city Varlo[5] on the Outer Rim[6] world Roonadan.[5]

Cade Skywalker ordered a "Corellian" at Rik's Cantina. When asked to specify ale or Corellian whiskey, he requested both. Jool then put the tab on the house.

Behind the scenes[]

This drink was also known as 'Juri juice' in the PlayStation game Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.

Corellian ale appeared in the MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies. In the game, Corellian ale could be purchased from bartenders in cantinas around the galaxy. It should be noted that the same graphical model for Corellian ale was used for other items in the game.
