"It's a frap!"
―Admiral Snackbar's slogan[2]

Admiral Snackbar was a restaurant in the city of Pons Ora on the planet Abafar. The diner was marked with a sign showing a steaming cup and the words "ADMIRAL SNACKBAR" in Aurebesh.[1] Above the sign was a holographic image of a Mon Calamari chef saying "IT'S A FRAP!"[2] Admiral Snackbar was located next to Game Go and was across the street from Dr. Evazan Cosmetic Surgery. During the Clone Wars, the building was marked with a sign which read "OUT OF BUSINESS."[1] Decades later, the motif of the Mon Calamari chef was used to decorate the flight suit of Hype Fazon, a racer pilot on Colossus station.[3]

Behind the scenes[]

Admiral Snackbar first appeared in "Missing in Action," the twelfth episode in the fifth season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.[1] It is a spoof of the Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi character Admiral Ackbar, who is known for the iconic quote "It's a trap!"[4]
