Where to get the Lightning Perfume Bottle in Elden Ring

Not quite lightning in a bottle.

Perfume Bottles are a very interesting type of weapon in Elden Ring, and the Lightning Perfume Bottle is turning out to be a little bit meta right now. Therese are literal perfume bottles that have been turned into weapons by the dreaded Perfumers in the Lands Between, so it’s definitely a pretty unique weapon for an RPG like this.

Lightning Perfume Bottle Location

The Lightning Perfume Bottle can be found on a corpse in a shallow pond in the Cerulean Coast area just after you enter the area from Charo’s Hidden Grave. It is a little awkward to get due to the presence of a Furnace Golem and a patrolling ram that causes lightning strikes.

To get the Lightning Perfume Bottle, start at the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion in Jagged Peaks. Run south beside the body of the massive dragon and drop down into the beautiful red-flowered area the back. Climb the hill to the south, then drop down onto the massive stone coffin there to enter the Cerulean Coast. From there, head north until you reach the Cerulean Coast Site of Grace and a tunnel that leads back into the Gravesite Plains, and you can find the pond there. It’s a good idea to just grab the Perfume Bottle and then bounce because there is a lot of random damage being thrown around by enemies in this area.

What does the Lightning Perfume Bottle do?

Perhaps unsurprisingly, this will cause lighting damage, 110 points of it at base level, to be precise. It also has D scaling with both Dexterity and Faith, which is an interesting combo. You need 3 Strength, 16 Dexterity, and 14 Faith to wield the weapon. To upgrade it, you will need Smithing Stones and then the Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone. It goes very well with the Ash of War: Rolling Sparks to create one of the current powerful meta builds in the game for taking on bosses. You should also combine it with the Perfumer’s Talisman to easily increase your damage output. The Rakshasa armor set is also good, as it will give an overall damage buff to the weapon, not just the skill used with it. The armor can be a little risky, as it also increases the damage you take, but the aim of the game here is to build a perfect quick nuke build, not survive incoming damage.

In-game description: Perfume bottle remade into a weapon by perfumers of the realm of shadow. Attacks release perfumed powder, producing lightning. From time to time, perfumers set out on journeys to pursue new aromatics and flower gardens.
