Rukkhashava Mushrooms location

Once you arrive in Sumeru, you’ll be able to find Rukkhashava Mushrooms. They’re described by the game as a fungus that grows like a sea of clouds. It also mentions that you can find them on trees deep within the rainforest.

The best spot is Mawtiyima Forest, which is west of Tianqiu Valley and north of Gandha Hill. Run down the pathways and look near the bushes of the forested area. They’re also near the roots of trees.

You’ll know you’ve found a Rukkhashava Mushroom if you see a gradient of blue, purple, and white on the fungus, as shown in the above picture.

What else do you need to ascend characters?

You’ll need other materials to ascend your Sumeru characters in Genshin Impact. For example, with Collei, you’ll also need a Nagadus Emerald Sliver and three Firm Arrowheads to get her ascending past Level 20. The Nagadus Emerald Sliver can only be retrieved by defeating the Jadeplume Terrorshroom and the Dendro Hypostasis. As you further level up each character, the resources will get trickier to come by.

With Hu Tao, you’ll need four Juvenile Jades that you can earn by defeating Level 30+ Primo Geovishaps over and over again. You’ll find situations like that as you ascend your characters at later levels.
