Where to find Lumitoiles in Genshin Impact

Too many Neuvillettes, not enough sea stars.

Lumitoiles are Neuvillette’s Ascension materials introduced in Version 4.1 of Genshin Impact. Here’s where to farm Lumitoiles quickly so you can ascend your characters right away!

Best farming route for Lumitoile

Lumitoiles can be found in or near bodies of water in northern Fontaine. They look like purplish-blue sea stars and can sometimes be hard to spot underwater. They like to hang out on the sides and top of metal underwater structures, so if you don’t see them on the ground, try looking up.

There are currently 79 Lumitoiles in the overworld. You can view the full route on the interactive map if you want to check them off as you go. None of the spawn areas are locked behind quests, so you should be able to reach them without having to complete any world quests.

Note that some of the Lumitoiles are in an underground tunnel. The tunnel can be accessed by jumping into the pool of water at the east side of the Millennial Pearl Seahorse arena.

Like other local specialties, Lumitoiles respawn 48 hours after collecting.

Where to buy Lumitoiles

There are unfortunately no NPCs that sell Lumitoiles.

How to use Lumitoiles

Lumitoiles are used when ascending Neuvillette, and possibly other characters in the future. You’ll need 168 of them in total, meaning you’ll need to clear your world just over two times to obtain enough. If you’re in a hurry, see if you can raid someone else’s world, though you should always ask before taking anything!

There are currently no crafting or cooking recipes that require Lumitoiles.
