Canopy Root location in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

Canopy Root in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is found within the Gossomer Lakes; it’s near the spectacular arch northwest of the Silk Woods. Delve into the forested area and climb the trees. You’ll see the Canopy Root hanging along branches. Start the gathering process. Move your analog stick up and then to the left to extract your Canopy Root perfectly.

This resource can then be used to make Heavy Bows. The damage of these bows depends on the quality of the material.

  • Fine = 30-35
  • Superior = 45-50
  • Exquisite = 54-59

The Heavy Bow draw time is also reduced by 20% by its Quick Draw quirk. You’ll find rarer canopy roots west of the Tangled Lake behind the Woodsprite Arches in the north of the Kinglor Forest, according to the game.

When’s the best time to collect this resource?

The best time to find a Canopy Root in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is to take them during the day. This is when they will be at their best quality. If you need help finding more of this resource (once you’ve found it), go to your “Hunter’s Guide” on the menu. Then, select Canopy Root and pin it. It shows you where to find this resource on the UI.

You can also find Pale Fire Seeds and Supreme Radar Mushrooms within the wilds of Pandora. Good luck!
