Where to find Blaze Fruit in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

It's very tricky to get.

Blaze Fruit in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora might be one of the most frustrating resources to look for in an Ubisoft game. Here’s where to find it and how to grab one for your recipes.

The Blaze Fruit location in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

To grab a Blaze Fruit, you’ll first need to unlock the ability to ride an ikron, a creature that the Na’vi use for flight. You’ll have to finish some main quests to glide in the air. Once that’s done, head to the skies and find the floating mountains. You’ll want to find Whip Leaf, a plant that’s attached to these high-altitude mountains. They have vines that will slap you away from your ikron.

The best location to find Whip Leaves is southwest of The Five Sisters and west of the Hydro-Oil Extractor Alpha. In fact, I found my first Whip Lead at the Hydro-Oil Extractor Alpha RDA Outpost. It was near the satellite at the top of the base.

How to extract this annoying fruit from the Whip Leaf

Get ready for this to be messy. When you approach a Whip Leaf, it will release a toxic gas. It can also whip you away with its vines. Tilting the analog stick backward, you’ll want to slow down and reach the tip of the leaf. Stop a foot behind and when it releases its gas, dive forward to quickly get the Blaze Fruit from it. You’ll see a blue light around the Whip Leaf, giving you the option to grab it.

You’ll likely need to attempt this multiple times. It feels like it’s down to sheer luck because most of the time that blue light doesn’t emerge. Fly away from the plant and wait for it to reset. It should take around 30 seconds to a minute.

It’s much easier to acquire a Canopy Root, Pale Fire Seeds, and Pale Vineshrooms, let me tell you.
