As a gacha game, Zenless Zone Zero will have Banners known as Signal Searches where you’ll be able to get your hands on new characters. These will rotate in and out every couple of weeks, so it’s likely you are never too far away from a character that might interest you. You can find information on the current and upcoming Banners below.
What is the current Zenless Zone Zero Banner?
There is not currently an active banner for Zenless Zone Zero, as the game has yet to be released. The full game will be released on July 4th, however, and we do know what the launch banners will be.
What is the next Zenless Zone Zero Banner?
Ellen Joe Signal Search – Mellow Waveride (July 4)
The Ellen Joe Signal Search will launch on July 4, along with the game’s full release. Ellen is an S-Rank Ice attribute character with an Attack fighting style. She is a member of Victoria Housekeeping Co.
Ellen’s Banner will have an increased chance of dropping her and also the following characters:
- Anton Ivanov (An A-Rank with Electric Attribute and the Attack fighting style)
- Soukaku (An A-Rank Ice attribute with the Support fighting style)
Zhu Yuan Signal Search – Unswerving Bullet (July 24)
The Zhu Yuan Signal Search will launch on July 24. Zhu is an S-Rank Ether attribute character with the attack fighting style, the leader of Public Security’s criminal investigation team, and a part of the N.E.P.S faction.
Zhu’s Banner will have an increased chance of dropping her and also the following characters:
- Nicole Demara (An A-Rank with Ether attribute and the Support fighting style)
- Ben Bigger (An A-Rank with Fire attribute and the Defense fighting style)
Is there a weapon Banner?
Zenless Zone Zero uses an item called W-Engines instead of Weapons. They serve the same purpose, giving your character improved stats and sometimes access to passive skills. There will be a W-Engine Banner, but we do not have many details about it right now.
W-Engines can also be earned by playing the game as they drop as a reward from some of the game modes, and they can also be purchased in the Gadget Store.
The Bangboo Banner
Zenless Zone Zero features creatures called Bangboos, tiny little helpers that will pitch in during combat with some buffs or even do damage themselves. The Bangboo Banner only uses currency you can earn from playing the game, so you cannot buy premium currency for this banner. You will be guaranteed an S Rank within 80 pulls and will get to choose it yourself, so you can pull the best Bangboo for your favorite characters easily. We will have more details on this banner at launch.
