MW3 Fury Kill, explained

You can think of an MW3 fury kill as a multi-kill in the same way as a double or triple kill, except much harder to accomplish. Players must get four or more eliminations within a few short seconds for this to count. When you get it, the red banner will appear at the top of the screen indicating you got a fury kill.

The main issue with this multi-kill is how quick you must be. The exact window of time is unknown, but you have perhaps no more than three seconds between eliminations for them to count as a chain of four or more together. For instance, I have gotten four kills in a row without dying a few times where there was a big enough gap between them that it ended up being counted as two separate double kills and not a fury kill.

Best ways to get a Fury Kill in MW3

Because of how restrictive the fury kill requirements are in MW3, you really have to go out of your way to get one of these. There are ways to help up your potential of doing this, though. I highly suggest game modes like War, but in this case, you have to camp out at the spawn of the enemy team and hope for a bit of luck to do this.

Another great option I like is to play smaller maps like Rust or Shipment in game modes like Team Deathmatch or Free for All. This maximizes your possible enemies in a smaller area, so you can have a better chance of getting multiple eliminations. 10v10 Mosh Pit is also fantastic since it nearly doubles the amount of players on these smaller maps.

As for what weapons to use in these modes, you have two possible options. The first is a shorter-range weapon like an SMG, such as the Rival-9, which you can use to dispatch players quickly in succession with the fast fire rate. The other option is to use explosives, such as the grenade launcher or mines, to blow up a huge group of players at once.

The final possible way to have the best chance of a fury kill is to play Ground War, but use a vehicle like a tank or helicopter. This way, you can find a huge group of foes on the massive 64-player map and blast them at the same time.
