With E3 dead and buried, Summer Game Fest has truly taken over as the gaming industry’s big summer showcase, where developers and publishers come together to show off their upcoming projects. So, here’s everything you need to know about when it’s happening and how you can watch it.

When does Summer Game Fest 2024 start?

Summer Game Fest 2024 is scheduled to begin on Friday, June 7 at 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 10pm BST. We’ve included a list of regions and their timezones below for anyone who may need it.

  • Los Angeles: 2 p.m. PT on June 7
  • New York: 5 p.m. ET on June 7
  • Brazil: 6 p.m. BRT on June 7
  • London: 10 p.m. BST on June 7
  • India: 2.30 a.m. IST on June 8
  • China: 5 a.m. CST on June 8
  • Tokyo: 6 a.m. JST on June 8
  • Australia: 7 a.m. AEST on June 8
  • New Zealand: 9 a.m. NZST on June 8

How to watch Summer Game Fest 2024 live

You can watch Summer Game Fest via either The Game Awards’ official YouTube channel and or The Game Awards’ Twitch channel. Since the show’s being held at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California, you also have the opportunity to watch it in-person if you snap up a ticket. Summer Game Fest tickets will be available for purchase starting from Tuesday, May 7 on Ticketmaster, so if you can make it, be sure to try and get a ticket early before they sell out.

What to expect at Summer Game Fest 2024

At the time of writing, there’s not many developers and publishers who are confirmed to be participating in Summer Game Fest 2024, so there’s no telling what sort of games you can expect to see announced during the show. So far, the only title guaranteed to make an appearance is Batman: Arkham Shadow, a new VR game in development for the Meta Quest 3.
