Palworld: Why you need Woolipop in your Ranch

Cute AND useful

There are some Pals within Palworld who at first glance might not seem as useful as others but don’t let that deceive you, they have a lot to offer. Woolipop is one such Pal. While it doesn’t offer much to battle besides it’s cuteness, you need one in your Ranch

Woolipop is, in my opinion, one of the most cutesy Pals. Clearly a Sheep, although at some point it seems to have taken beauty advice from a Poodle, Woolipop isn’t exactly the strongest or most valuable when placed into your Party.

However, there’s a very good reason to capture a Woolipop (or three, if you’re so inclined) and put it into your Ranch; Woolipop drop Cotton Candy and this sweet, spun sugar treat is one of only two raw foods (the other being Honey) which can be fed to Pals in order to increase their Sanity.

We have a guide dedicated to raising your Pals Sanity, but in short, if a Pal’s Sanity drops too low it can become depressed and if a Pal becomes depressed, they don’t work. Of course, we all want our Pals to work as hard as they can, because that’s what keeps our bases running smoothly.

So if you care about your Pals at all, you need Cotton Candy and for that, you need Woolipop.

Where to get Woolipop in the wild

Woolipop has one spawn area and the quickest way to get there is to travel to one of the following fast travel points:

  • Sealed Realm of the Swordmaster
  • Ravine Entrance

You’ll find Woolipop roaming around the forests here. They’re pretty low level Pals, so you shouldn’t have too much of a hard time capturing them with basic Pal Spheres.

How to breed Woolipop

As with most low level Pals, there are a whole host of breeding pairs which result in a Woolipop. Here’s a few of the easier couples:

  • Mau + Melpaca
  • Rushoar + Tanzee
  • Eikthyrdeer + Lamball
  • Direhowl + Bristle
  • Gobfin + KIllamari
