I guess money’s not a rare item at Mojang

Markus “Notch” Persson and Mojang are counting their millions, but that doesn’t necessarily mean dollars in this instance. Well, indirectly it does. Notch revealed via Twitter recently that the PC version of Minecraft has recently passed the 14 million sales milestone. That tally doesn’t seem set to slow down anytime soon.

Computer players aren’t the only ones that love them some Minecraft. In December 2013, it was announced that the game had sold in excess of 10 million copies on Xbox 360. With a newly released PlayStation 3 version that’s already passed one million sales, and Xbox One, PS4, and PS Vita iterations all in the works, these numbers are probably going to do nothing but increase dramatically. All just bricks in Notch’s big, blocky empire.
