The Kingdom Hearts 3 PC port is finally heading to Steam, and fans around the world are delighted to finally play it on their system of choice. The Kingdom Hearts 3 PC system requirements should be fairly easy to run, depending on the age of your computer.
Minimum Kingdom Hearts 3 PC system requirements
In order to play Kingdom Hearts 3 on your PC, you’ll need at least a 64-bit Windows 10 OS (ver.1909 or higher) and 8GB of RAM. You’ll also require the following for the minimum specs:
- Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-3330 / AMD Ryzen™3 1200
- Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 760 (VRAM 2GB) / AMD Radeon™ R7 260X (VRAM 2GB)
- DirectX: Version 11
- Storage: 75 GB available space
These specs will let you “Blast Away” in this adventure at 30 frames per second in a 720p resolution. It will be worth the upgrade if you can’t reach these system requirements yet. “This is a souped-up version of the previous games, which allows each world to shine individually without going overboard and approaching the uncanny valley,” said our review in progress back in 2019. “Pixar characters look authentic and true to the source material, as do many of the previously computer-animated cast members.”
Recommended Kingdom Hearts 3 PC system requirements
If you want to up the ante and get a 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second, you may need to get the wallet out and purchase some new hardware. The recommended specs are:
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit (ver.1909 or later)
- Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-7500 / AMD Ryzen™3 3100
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1070 / AMD Radeon™ RX Vega 56
- DirectX: Version 11
- Storage: 75 GB available space
The system requirements for Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 HD ReMIX have also been released, and there are some strange differences between the Steam and Epic Game Store versions. First, you’ll need DX12 instead of DX11. Second, the graphics cards have been slightly changed from the GeForce GTX 730 to the 750, and the Radeon RX 460 instead of the 240. This could be due to the upgraded textures in the game for the PC version, such as the upgraded backgrounds. Regardless, here are the recommended specs for 1.5 + 2.5 HD ReMIX:

- Processor: Intel® Core™ i3-3210 / AMD A8-7600
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 750 / AMD Radeon™ RX 460

Lastly, there is the collection Final Chapter Prologue, which features Dream Drop Distance HD, χ Back Cover, and 0.2 Birth By Sleep. I don’t blame you for getting confused with the names of these games and I’m a fan of this series. Here are the specs for this collection if you plan on playing it:
