Is Immortals of Aveum open world?

Is another open world fantasy game in our midst?

A magic-based FPS set in a fantasy Immortals of Aveum open world sounds like a great concept. However, the blockbuster route of a Call of Duty-like campaign sounds enticing too. Immortals of Aveum has you fighting bosses and other foes in a game powered by Unreal Engine 5. Can you face off against these villains in an Immortals of Aveum open world? Find out below.

Can you explore an Immortals of Aveum open world?

Unfortunately, Immortals of Aveum is a strictly linear campaign with designed levels.

In other worlds, this is not an open-world game. There are side paths that give you loot for your exploration, but you cannot explore an open area like Horizon: Zero Dawn or Halo Infinite. In chapters, you’ll be put on a set path with blockbuster cutscenes and action set pieces along the way. There’s a terrific fight against a dragon called The Howler that will keep you on your toes during your journey.

You’ll also be able to collect loot along the way and upgrade it with the materials you collect. There’s even some DLC that can strengthen the protagonist Jak from the get-go.

Are there any open world games like this?

There aren’t specifically any magic-based FPS games that let you explore an open world. If you strictly want an FPS set in an open world, the Far Cry series is the way to go. You’ll be capturing bases, exploring detailed environments, and following an intense narrative along the way. There’s no magic involved, but you can find a lot of loot.
