As you defeat enemies and scour each environment, you can gain new weapons in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. With new swords, spears, and other weapons to draw from, you can switch them out in real-time.

You’re not taught this as you play through the game, but after figuring it out, you can switch your weapons in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty easily. Hopefully, you can beat a challenging boss by performing this action and switching up your combat style.

As you run around in-game, you can alter your weapon in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty at any time. Hold down the R2 button (RT on Xbox) and press either up or down on the D-Pad to change from the primary to the secondary. Something to keep in mind, however, is that the secondary weapon will be weaker than the primary. Place your strongest weapon first. Change their positioning by pausing the game and selecting “Equipment.” It’s symbolized by a sword and armor on the top-left of the screen. Once you’re in the menu, pick your sword, spear, etc, under “Melee Weapon.” The primary is on the left, and the secondary is on the right.

You can also change your “Ranged Weapons” on the section under “Melee Weapon.”  You should know that the pause menu won’t actually freeze the action in-game. Wait until the coast is clear. Then, alter your equipment. It’s best to do this near a checkpoint flag.

How to change Wizardry Spells

Unfortunately, you can’t alter your Wizardry Spells from the in-game menu, like armor and weapons in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Instead, go to a checkpoint flag and press R2 to rest at it. Then, choose “Wizardry Spells.” Once you’ve learned Wizardry Spells from the skill tree, select “Set Wizardry Spells.” Now, you can alter each spell to the shortcut of your liking. Magic is a great asset in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. You can also receive various gifts in-game through DLC.
