Where are the braziers in Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail?
After reaching level 100 in the Main Story Quest (MSQ), you’ll embark upon a journey in the final area of the game: Living Memory.
After roughly half an hour of questing, you’ll reach the northeast corner of the map, and stumble upon the quest Leafing Through the Past. It’s here that you’ll need to complete a mini-puzzle, which is rather uncharacteristic of the fairly straightforward MMO storyline mechanics that dominate Dawntrail.
How to solve the Leafing Through the Past brazier puzzle in Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail
Speak to the Mechanical Guide at X:35.7, Y: 10.0 in Living Memory. They’ll task you with lighting the “correct” braziers. Luckily, you have this guide!
Follow these steps to complete the quest:
- Walk slightly west to find the Brazier of Eternal Summer: interact with it to light it
- Walk east and locate the Brazier of Calculations: interact with it and light it
Speak to the Mechanical Guide in the middle of the brazier section. Congrats! Afterward, head north to locate the next Main Story Quest location: you can even pick up an Aether Current nearby at X:31.9 and Y: 7.9.
